there was one point in time where i heated up a bowl of water so it would be warm and i soaked my hands in there. i know i do that when i have to clean the pool and its extremely chilly outside.

while you practice? shouldnt your fingers warm up a little since your moving them, blood is circulating and there is friction between your finger and the pen........ O-e just keep a mug of coffee or hot chocolate around x)

That usually disappears for me after a while of spinning. If not, I take any long sleeve clothing and put it over my hand, I then put my mouth on it and blow on it as if someone asked to smell my breath. :D Try it, it works.

This is what I do. Also, put your hands in your armpit or downstairs. That makes your hands warm up pretty quick. Washing your hands with hot water after both of those tactics is recommended.

Get something to keep your wrists warm, wristband etc. I have often cold fingers and that is annoying. So warm clothes are important and you should keep your feet warm if you want warm fingers because if you have cold feet the rest of the body is usually colder too.

When my fingers are cold and stiff, I wash them, dry them well, stretch them in every direction, flex them a bit, then just spin.

Just spin a little, it'll go away (does for me XD). It's rather annoying because it results in the pen constantly dropping, but that stops once they warm up.

That does not happen to me. My hand will be cold if I'm under the aircon for 6 hours.

It's really important to warm up your hand before you penspin; it's just like playing violin, if you don't warm up, your fingers don't bend as well and you might actually have a chance of damaging your hands if you just start spinning while they're cold.

When I pen spin for a while and when I put the pen down and touch my spinning hand it feels cooler. I sometimes compare the two hands by putting them on my face and all the time the spinning hand (my right) is always colder. I don't know if it is just be but I am curious. A reason that this happens may be is that there is more blood running underneath the skin in he hand. The blood carries the heat away from the hand. That is my guess.
