Hand Care / Double Jointed Fingers?

    So all my fingers are double jointed, I was wondering if it will effect my learning and experience?

    Just make sure that your fingers don't lock while spinning... If they don't then its actually an advantage since your fingers can bend more than the average person.. My double jointed thumb is a little hyper though(takes some practice to keep it from moving)...     I am double jointed not at my fingers but at my wrist and hand. My left thumb can bend so that it touches and lays flat with my wrist. Well it does not affect my penspinning much. My thumb can best backwards 90 degrees but most people can do that so I can balance my pen on top of my thumb

    There's no such thing as 'double jointed' according to a New Scientist article I read earlier this year.

    It's not a case of 'what do they call it.' You just do not have two joints there.

    If someone's fingers were to automatically lock does it keep them from spinning?
