i'm worried my short fingers might cause me to be unable to learn certain tricks. are short fingers a problem?

Short fingers wont make spinning harder, or easier. So dont worry, you'll be able to spin just as good as people with long fingers =D

Pinky= 2.5" Ring= 3" Middle= 3.25" Index= 3" Thumb 2.5" I got long skinny fingers lol

Pinky: 7 cm Ring: 7,5 cm Middle: 8,5 cm Index: 8 cm Thumb: 6 cm Long and skinny fingers that is able to bend in abnormal ways, love them ~(*.*~)

i have short fingers and i spin ok imo.but i feel longer or longer-LOOKING fingers are nicer in terms or aesthetic appeal

it really doesn't matter, you can't make your fingers grow a certain length, be happy with them any hand is good for pen spinning.

Thumb - 6.7 cm Index - 8.2 cm Middle - 9.0 cm Ring - 8.5 cm Pinky - 6.5 cm >_> And at the topic, there is no such thing like experiment or stuff like that before. It's also hard to figure out because you can't jump into someone and 'wear' them or 'borrow' their fingers to use. Roughly hypothesis, I guess they affect your spinning but possibly not that effective. I mean, Cloud Traveler, BaoO, Tonnam and... almost countless spinners? With short fingers are/had been doing really well. They are even way better than some world-class spinners with longer fingers.
