Hand Care / Pen spinning with your hand smooth or sweaty?

Do those pro pen spinners spin with their hands slightly sweaty... really smooth or really sweaty (which i doubt) I'm still noob at pen spinning so if this is a stupid question, I'm sorry D: Whenever my hands are smooth i can barely do any moves at all. i like it when my hand is slightly sweaty just enough to get a grip on the pen? What do you guys think?

I actually know what you mean, after I just wash my hands I suck at spinning, but after I have just that little bit of sweat I'm way better, its kind of weird.

Eh. I really can't do anything with sweaty hands. The pen get's "stuck" too much >>; And with smooth hands, the pen just flies. ._____.; I use lotion on my hands, cause I like the feeling of it. It shouldnt make your hands smooth, or too sweaty.

yea thats exactly what i mean Raphiel, right after PE (cause i wash my face) my hands are so smooth in 2nd period and i can't do anything at all, but i thought it was just because i'm still very very noob at pen spinning so far, just started in april and i don't practice HARDCORE.

Great idea! Lotion i should've thought of that, but then again.... i hate hate hate the feeling of sweaty hands + lotion it feels like crap :O

I guess I like my hands a little sweaty for spinning, because it's hard to spin while my hands are dry =(

Wash your hands with soap, then wait for it to dry, then it should get smooth, then use lotion.

yea! i hate dry hands!!! its IMPOSSIBLE to spin! :o it usually takes 2 straight hours of spinning to get my hands in the prime spinning zone :] but im gunna hafta try lotion!

Yes, thats a good name for it. Its like, when I first start spining for a bit, Im pretty bad, then after a little bit of straight doing it, and you get that little bit of sweat, you get into... the prime spinning zone. -

Sometimes having really sticky hands in hot weather can help with difficult fingering, but if you try stuff like palm spins, cobra bites, etc. they aren;t doable anymore. I prefer smooth hands.

Lol^ I spin best after I just get done washing my hands. The pen spins much better and doesn't get stuck. It's vital for doing combos with any spin.

either dry or moist, lotion should fix it...i reccomend washing your hand with soap and the applying lotion. i used lotion from Bath & Body Works, it works great

Too smooth [after washing hands] is too slippery to spin with & too sweaty [after washng hands too] is also hard =/ I'd say it would be in between. =D

i hate my hand sweaty! i cant do a lot of tricks cuz the pen just stops. i usually put my moms mosurizer and that helps...

Sweaty Hands. Because in hard plastic barrels like G3's or RSVP's, I can't really go consistent when my hands are smooth. And whenever my hands are a bit sweaty, it's easier to do cont tricks. It really helps. I really prefer spinning in a bit sweaty texture but not too much. It's like spinning after a some minutes after washing ur hands. Because spinning right after washing your hands sucks. And another thing.. The pen increases the chances of [B]NOT[/B] getting dropped when your hands are not totally smooth. We call it the "Hand Mood".XD Lol.. somewhat like that.XDD

I really perfer smooth hands. My spinning needs the pen to be able to slide - I find it very uncomfortable if the pen really sicks at your hand. So ... before recording a combo I wash and dry my hands. = )

I can't spin with dry hands unless I spin an aviare grip lol but if my hands are dry icant spin my k7 hybrid mod Or any other mod with a slick barrel

sweaty...it's pretty much unanimous...it's just that dry makes it too hard. I'll try lotion.
