Hand Care / Sore hands

Alright, so lately I've been trying to spin Comssa mods and personal mods. They're alot lighter than the KT's I was spinning for a solid 2 months straight. It's been about a week, since I've picked up light mods, but now my hand, up through my knuckles and down my finger, and in some cases up my forearm are just sore... So my question is... What the F? i'm in the mood to spin alot now-a-days, and this soreness is effecting that... which makes me sad. Any suggestions? I've also been doing alot of hand exercises, trying to up my finger independence and flexibility... but as most know, I've had little progress. Any ideas as to what to do about this situation would be most appreciated. ~Z

Rest your hands a bit, they must be sore because of using the KT. Rest them for some days and then try to spin the comssa.

I guess it's just a matter of grinding out the tricks I need mastered. Even still... how long does it take the average spinner to learn and master a new trick? >.>

Eh.... i always get bummed when i hear people say "a few weeks". That's a long-ass time.... How often did you practice a day? There have got to be factors not accounted for, that can be compensated elsewhere, ya know? Loopholes and such, as far as practice time is concerned.

yeah, I ever have sore hands, and also this time. I think you just have to rest your hand for a few days.

Resting is the best way I guess?

I guess. I didn't really rest, I just practiced tricks that didn't hurt my hand, and used a mod that wasnt too light but not too heavy. But after taking it easy for a while, my hand recovered and i was able to spin slightly better. ^^

    Can penspinning cause carpal tunnel?

Not that I know of. I mean, with the exercise and such, you'd think it'd be healthy. I'd have to look into it, unless someone else knows the answer.
