i've seen people be pretty pro with a zippo and do hard tricks but to be decent at it i dont think really requires a lot of time at all.. a tiny bit of practice and a blister or 2 is the price... compared to pen spinning, it is a walk in the park. zippos are about 10-20 bucks i got one at Smoke101 and it works fine for me :hmm: its also another thing to do with ur fingers besides pen spinning for example i got my zippo yesterday and have been practicing about 5 hours total and i can do this [6 out of 7 minutes is empty blackness, dont know what happened lol.] im pretty sure being a pen spinner helps due to finger dexterity but after 5 hours i still think this is good :P what do you guys think about zippo lighter tricks?

The community is really bad/hard to understand/unorganized. That's good for 5 hours I guess, but squeezes and stuff or just confusing and ruin your nice pen spinning fingers =[. Really not that great as pen spinning, more expensive, and has the ability to cost you thousands of dollars in the future if your burn down your house. =] I just learned a couple squeezes and tricks and was done. Doesn't take that long to learn the basics, probably a day. Pen spinning doesn't help THAT much, besides dexterity for finger pass and flexibility for some passes.

was looking for something as difficult as pen spinning to pass time but this was easier than i expected but i guess its nice to know. also u cant rly burn ur house down with it lol i've dropped it before it lands on its side and the flame becomes tiny almost nonexistant its not hard to just pick it up :)

I think it looks amazing, not as difficult as psing, but I saw a vid with some guy doing tricks with two zippos in one hand. But too bad the vid got deleted.

It really is easier than pen spinning. The techniques can be far more easier to understand - and master. I have done some Zippo manipulations years ago but then i stopped. You really need passion if you want to carry on after you've learned all the tricks. And watch out - after you do some fancy tricks you might find it cool if you had a cigarette. Here is a video i made after the first month. I made this video years ago though.

If you say zippos cost a lot, zippos aren't as expensive as unresponsive yoyo's though. LOL imo, most manipulations are easier than Penspinning tbh. I've tried to teach ppl a lot, but the only thing they don't get is psing -_-

...I feel that if I try this I will burn my house down...cuz in science I use to set random objects on fire...so I'm not really trust-worthy with fire
