Member Introductions / Just started spinning... used to something a bit more dangerous

Soooooo yeah... I just started spinning today with a pen that I modded and I'm not doing half bad. My background in balisongs helps a bit. balisong is a knife that takes skill to open and folds to hide the blade. -

Nice video! Balisong stuff kicks ass but it scares me haha. You're pretty awesome though, and welcome to the forum! What pen mod did you make by the way? I made a BICtory and an RSVP myself a few days ago :D

I got some bic pens with grips and did 1.5 the normal length, held it together with electrical tape, and added some chopped up grips on the ends. Is there a better way to hold it together than tape? I thought maybe some heat shrink tube or something?

Hmmm, since you already spin balisongs and those things are like 3x heavier then a buster LOL try finding some supertip markers and connecting them (backplug end) with about 3 cm of the bic body add w/e you like to the ends x)
