    Sign up for the UPSB Online RPG here! I will start the game on 10 sign ups. or in 24 hours from now (20:34 GMT). Everyone else, wait for the next game (if there is one). Rounds will be approx. 48 hours. Further information:

    SpoilerArmour and defence will protect you against every HIT. It will not however, save you against things that do not HIT you, such as poison or disease. All of you can adjust your stats until the game starts. When I make the game start thread, I will copy over all your stats to my computer, and that will be your starting stats. In all cases of fighting monsters, players get first strike. Then, the monster strikes. Battles are thus calculated like this: Player (level one): Health - 5 defence - 5 attack - 5 dexterity - 5 Monster: H - 10 D - 1 A - 6 D - 10 (this combat assumes player gets 'hit' everytime on their dexterity roll, which is quite unlikely) 1) Player does 5 - 1 = 4 damage, monster health = 6 2) Monster does 6 - 5 = 1 damage, Player health = 4 3) Player does 5-1 = 4 damage, monster health = 2 4) Monster does 6 - 5 = 1 damage, Player health = 3 5) Player does 5-1 = 4 damage, monster health = -2 DEAD Player level goes up to level 2. Each monster will have a reward for killing it. The reward will be known before the battle. There will always be several choices each turn, which could be fighting monsters, collecting random items visiting places, for example. This game actually plays real easy. It will be simple when we start, trust me.
    To sign up, simply reply with your character's stats. Stats to choose from (20 points to distribute): Health - Health Attack - Attack strength Defence - Absorb this amount of damage before losing health. Strength - Can carry objects of up to this weight. Dexterity - Chance to hit 1 point = 10%, 10 points = 100%) Items to choose from (number in brackets indicates strength required to carry this item): You may choose one item in each character. Weapons Knife(1) - Attack + 2 Dagger(2) - Attack + 3 Sword(4) - Attack + 6 Armour Leather armour(2) - + 1 defence Chain mail(3) - + 3 defence Plate mail(5) - +5 defence Misc Ring of dexterity - +2 dexterity Ring of health - +2 health Ring of strength - +2 strength More items and stat points are available in game. The game will be controlled by a little program I have made, which I will release when the game is finished. How do you play? Well, you will get it. It's pretty simple. Sign-Ups Chobi - Level 1 wizard Awesome - Level 1 villager Shoeman6 - Level 1 zombie Chainbreak - Level 1 knight Pudels Kern - Level 1 ogre nero666 - Level 1 human van - Level 1 elf platinumsj - Level 1 giant The 'type' your are (zombie, wizard etc) means nothing. It's just to make the game read nicer. ;) Your level is = monsters killed + 1.

    Every hit. @juggalo666666 - I will not accept your sign up until you declare you stats. I think this game would be better with more players and I'm feeling nice when it comes to running it. I will now take up to 10 sign ups (that is 5 more if juggalo is in). The game begins when 10 sign ups happen, or when at least 24 hours pass from the time of the first thread posting.

    You need 4 and 5 strength respectively to wield sword and to have plate mail. You have only got 2.

    You get 20 stat points to distribute, not 8.

    Yes, as shoeman says, ANY damage that was not in the form of a hit, poison, illness, cold, heat etc would be very quickly fatal to a player with high defence and low health. Anyways, I'm going to start this game hmm, in maybe half an hour? Good luck :)

    The program I made to manage it did. I made it on my other laptop and now this laptop first says it's a trojan horse (:wtf:) and then says 'program cannot be run without adminstrative privilages', but I am the only user on this laptop and also an administrator. :rolleyes: Ahhhh the joys of Windows. :)

    o.O that is so lame.... sorry to hear you have a trojan virus dude if you can put your laptop into saferun mode, and then download COMODO anti virus. its a free windows program that is pretty good.
