    hey,i just wanted to know that how do u practice pen spinning for instance,you just practice one trick until u get good at it and then move to other tricks or practice practice several trick at the same time....

    I tend to practice only one or two tricks or mini-combos at a time, until I get consistant at that trick/mini combo. Consistancy is tough to get though. Right now I want a solid Thumbspin 3.0 and Double Thumbaround and it's taking ages (probably because I only practice about 10 mins a day at the moment though lol).

    I got rusty over the past year, so I just do what I've been doing for the past few weeks/months. I just freestyle. Recently I've been getting back in shape (in PS terms, that is) so I'm beginning to do new mini combos and starting to develop consistency.

    Keep doing what you want to practise over and over again. Kinda straight forward.

    But how many tricks/combos do you practice over and over again at one time?

    I freestyle and try to use many different tricks and try to create new links for me. I usualy select a few tricks I absolutely want in this or that combo and try to see where I can link them in my freestyle spinning. Then I randomly try any link that I could see and practice it. Then I move on to other tricks and repeat the procedure. That way I find new links and train my consistency.

    I dunno, I just spin. but if i have a battle or so, i'll push myself to the limit and make combos I generally can't do again or am able to do 1/100 times. It's not a really good practice, but it's my style =P

    i practice 3 and only three at the same time, with little breaks in between to refresh what i know. its very effective IMO.
