So I have made TS 5.0 and 5.5 several times each, but never any higher. I try to keep my Thumbspins somewhat controlled by not pushing as hard as possible, and even after a TS 5.0, there is still momentum left, but the pencil seems to become unstable. My TS consistancy in a quick check is: 2.0 - 8/10 2.5 - 3/10 3.0 - 2/10 3.5 - 2/10 (I'm sure 2.5 is more normally ~ 5/10) Is a Thumbspin higher than this really just a case of push and hope? Do I need to push my lower Thumbspin consistancy higher to have a better shot at the bigger ones? Do you also find Thumbspins losing stability as they slow down?

With my thumbspins, I found that there should be a speed (depending on the pen) that isn't too fast or too slow for the pen to balance more easily.

I dont know why but personally, when I start Thumbspins with a motion similar to how people do arounds (a little seesaw motion) before it, I easily get the "big" Thumbspins over 4 pretty consistantly

This. It helps me quite a lot, mostly a signo DX grip or something.

@MickChickenn -> I don't really want to use grips and why are you posting in the thread if you're not good at Thumbspins? lol Yesterday I made a 6.0! But failed to catch it. Perhaps I just need tons more practice.

when i do thumbspin, the pen did not spin on my thumb, it spin on my index, and i can't count how many round did it spin because it is too fast

Same with me, does it count if you do the thumbspin on your index finger?

^ Isn't that the index spin? That's harder for me compared to he thumbspin. I used to be able to do 7~8 TS consistently, until i broke my mod D=> Now, with new mod, I'm just able to do like 4~5 consistently. And my record is like 12.5 or something, not sure but the pen spun on my thumb for about 5~6 sec

Thomas. Work on control and having a flat surface for the pen to spin on.

I'm trying out bending my knuckle upwards and letting it spin on there. I'll see how it goes...
