I had a set of Necrons I remember, and my brother was going Tyranid... Don't know where everything went though, probably in the garbage, sadly...

Game workshop is a terrible company, they sue their fans for making fan-made material for their games and they jack up their mini prices ridiculously. also they invalidate their minis on a regular basis so you gotta keep buying them i'd rather play Heroscape, but its now OOP

heroscape is a mini game technically, not a boardgame. but you don't have to assemble the minis and they're already painted.

true but there is no future sets and no mroe development of the game. Do you know why was it discontinued? Lack of sales and interest? Or was the cost to produce it too high? I got the game like 4 years ago for 60 dollars, the master set which was pretty high.

well its produced by WOTC, and WOTC wants to focus on their flagship stuff = MTG and D&D, so they pulled the plug on heroscape

Just bought my 1k Eldar Army (1k to begin with, for now) and paints, should be really fun as I've got some warp spiders and pathfinders to harass with, rest of army (banshee squad, farseer, dire avenger squad) being awesome hipsters transported via waveserpent and falcon. :D
