with the Galaxy Nexus launching soon, im was just about to upgrade. but then i read about how theres some phone with like 2.5ghz and a 12(i think) mgpxl camera and all this other awesome shit. I believe the phone i was talking about is either the galaxy s3 or htc zeta. At this rate, just waiting around, there will always be something better coming out. when should i stop waiting, and which phone will be "it"?

Try waiting for HTC Zeta to come out. If it works as planned (i.e. you have the 2.5GHz, 1GB RAM and all that), then get that. Otherwise, get Nexus products. I doubt HTC Zeta is gonna be a 2.5ghz.

What provider do you have? That would help understand your limitations.

if there ever will be a galaxy sIII, it wont be out for a while because the SII just came out. As for the HTC Zeta thingy (never heard of it), it's pretty much only going to be as good as other phones. I mean honestly, what will you be doing that needs a 2.5 GHz processor. Go with the Nexus that's about to come out. Nexus phones are always slick as hell. I wish i wouldve waited for one :(

"Update: In our digging since this article was posted, we're confident that this is just simply a cool concept and not an actual device in the works." ^Engadget about the Zeta less than a week ago. don't get your hopes up.

If you live in the US, (I don't know about other carriers outside the US), the Galaxy Nexus will be compatible with T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon. So if you're in the US and you have one of those carriers, I highly recommend getting the Galaxy Nexus. Sent from my SGH-T959 using Tapatalk

the battery is not the best it just is hat your are doing with it while using it permanently should have a battery time of 10 hours but there are solutions for long distances like this one http://www.ebay.de/itm/altek-Leo-externer-Akku-Just-Mobile-4400mAh-/320790255727?pt=DE_Handy_PDA_Akkus&hash=item4ab096d86f it´s in german i know with this you can extended your battery life up to the 6 times than before

sooo...verizon version of the galaxy nexus is out now. it seems better than the unlocked version(i.e. faster vertical to landscape change). is it worth it to get the nexus now? or is there something i should wait for?

Wait do you own the Leo? I'm pretty sure it's terrible at videos from what I last saw. Also, the screen is really unresponsive. And don't expect them to ever update the Android version. Oh and I'm pretty sure the battery life sucks. 14 MP Sensor and WVGA screen powered by 1020 mAh? olol.

Assuming you're talking about the Razr XT910, I'd go for the Galaxy Nexus. The two are almost identical on paper, except the Nexus has a higher res screen. The razr has an 8 MP camera and the nexus has a 5 MP camera, but it really won't make a difference, Motorola and HTC both use the absolute cheapest cameras they can get from the factory. Samsung is more reputable when it comes to optics. Oh and the Razr uses a PenTile Matrix, so the perceived resolution is lower and the screen is dimmer. Good god I have no reason why manufacturers use them.

i just played with both in the store, razr has a better camera imo, and it just feels more solid. the nexus has faster loading times from what i can tell, but wow the transition from vertical to landscape is kinda bugging me, and im reading articles about how bad the battery is. if ICS was out of the equation, which of the two would be better?
