I was wondering if we could start a team to actively update and maintain the wiki site. The RD alone wouldn't be enough probably so I'll open the idea to the public soon but I wanted to run the Idea by here first to see what you guys think.

Oh yea I forgot to add, if we invite the public to join, we should have some form of entry test to show that they know their stuff in PSing, anyone have ideas on what to test?

just do a short application process asking how long they've been around and what do they think needs work in the wiki and how much time would be they be willing to spend or something or maybe even less than that but in any case, you can just choose from the people who apply regardless of their application-- but juts do the application so it's like a selection (course, it holds still some merit though)

Honestly, the only thing I really used the wiki for was when I was a beginner looking at mods. But that's seriously outdated and I don't know how to make new pages and I'm too lazy to look it up :D I can help out with that if I have time.
1. How long have you been spinning or modding/ How much experience have you had in spinning or modding? 2. What do you think the Wiki site needs most now? 3. Which area would you like to contribute in (spinning/modding/others)? 4. How much time/effort are you willing to put into this project? 5. Other comments
I think I'll start a group for discussions and all that stuff also. I'll probably post the thread tomorrow.

I'm going to do some stuff on the wiki over the next month or so. I have a question also. WHY CAN YOU EDIT WIKI WITH NO POSTS? We saw this lead to large damage to a wiki once before. <_<

And if I'm not mistaken, it keeps a history doesn't it?

True, but if someone waltzes along and edits 27 articles, do you want to be the one who has to revert them all?

I'm not on the wiki team ;) I've always thought indexes and lexicons are more useful than wikis, but to each their own :)
