There is no real Airfit tip sub. There are some heavy metal tips of that size but most will be slightly different, expensive, and you won't get the semi awesome airfit grip. just be sure to get the airfit with the tips you want since there are 3 sizes.

sure, it might be an airfit sub, but usually, the point of these threads is to find a more "common" substitute if he can only get it through trading with Russian ps'ers, why not just buy it from PW in the first place?

Either way he'd have to get it from online (via penwish or from finding russian spinners to trade with), and in that case, it'd be cheaper. Airfits are what... ~$4?, if you're buying quite a few, saving $3 on each is a pretty good saving given an extra bit of inconvenience. And he could've just have put that here in case Russian spinners don't know about that pen themselves :dunno:

In that case i believe silicon gel tips are fairly similar and heavy from what i hear and they are from cali i think so USA traders should have it.

desperately need sub for comssa cap. can't Namae, bellcolor, emboss, carton comssa caps either.

  21. scout
    Date: Thu, Dec 30 2010 01:21:08

Emboss isn't even CLOSE to a sub for a comssa cap. From what you're posting that you can't get, you probably won't find good subs for it. Is a signo a possible sub for the HGR? If that isn't, is there a sub for the HGR that I can get in US? I can get HGR's, but the place where I can get them is far away. :/

  22. Holypie

MX wise, hgg grip can be subbed with almost any other similar sized grips meaning, u can sub it with Anyball/Profiles, G2, RSVP RT... etc in fact, subbing it with the grips mentioned makes the MX more balanced too :) Frog~

What do you think?

  57. JamTheKid
    Date: Thu, Sep 6 2012 14:45:35

More information to add: Pen dimensions: Approximately 5.7 inches (14.5 cm) long and 0.5 inches (13 mm) in diameter. . So the Grip is about 1/3 of the pen -> Grip should be about 4.5 cm long, more or less. That's good for us :D 1.3 cm in diameter also sounds good to me. Whenever it's suited for gripcuts, we have to see if it is a hard or soft grip. But it is most likely a good grip of it's own and maybe also a good sub for Uni Retractable. BUT look at the price $9.90 for one?

  58. PenwisH
    Date: Thu, Sep 6 2012 14:53:52

yes that price is correct this is not a cheap pen/pencil. it is multi pen/pencil so unless you really need that color grip probably better value elsewhere

It's obviously possible with some help of tape or grips. But the weight difference is pretty substantial.

Well, I want to make something like the Buster CYL, but none of the stores nearby sell the Zebra airfit grip. I want it for it's transparency and if it can fit over a bic cap. (a smaller version, but transparent)

HGG subs in America? Grip and tip and only in US. Also only popular store, ie major brand stores, staples, officeMax, OfficeDepot etc. Looking for 1 pen with both same grip and tip to avoid any confusion. No "like subs" like signo. Only HGG!!!!! Regards Zen

    Date: Mon, Sep 2 2013 22:28:27

@Zen http://www.pentel.ca/products/photos/01/01_2_04.jpg The grips are kind of like HGGs, not really. :/ Think of it as a regular RSVP pen grip only longer. It is in fact longer and thicker than HGG. Not sure what you would do for tips though. :/ What you're asking for is near impossible to get. Major brand stores sells crap unless you're getting fake signos, Pentel RSVPs, Pilot G2s, Crayola supertips, fat Pilot Dr. Grip, American G-specs Dr. Grip, and whatnot.

You have a few choices. 1. Color Express. Found in Europe I believe. A perfect sub for supertip and comes in a wide range of colors. Including green 2. Bellcolor. Also found in Europe and is a sub for Comssa. The body also comes in a wide range of colors. Including green You are going to need these either way. Regular comssas only come in white and yellow caps. 3. Personal subs Regards Zen
