    If you have a Prius change the display from the speedometer to the animated consumption display with the arrows and stuff. The proctor will look at it the whole time.

    What everyone else said. Even though the test is supposedly twenty minutes, they usually run a lot shorter. Mine was 12 min, and I've had friends whose tests were as short as 9 minutes. To my knowledge we're in the same area of cali, so this should apply to you too.

    should probly just... drive well... i mean... they're testing how well you can drive... so drive well i could tell you "hey do this: *lists out every road rule*", but it all comes down to just driving well

    ^seriously. You can run a red light and still pass if you fucking looked. (no not really). Just make it obvious you did. Look like a retarded chicken if you have to, that's what theyre gonna check for. Drive around the area within a 5 block radius. Get familiar with the streets.

    take your test in a rural area... easie there and practice on the 1 hour it takes you to drive there
