Off-topic / Friend problem

My best friend likes this girl, but I like that girl too. And that girl may be into me too but he does not know it. But my best friend liked that girl WAAY before I even liked her. So what I'm asking is, what can I do or tell my best friend that she likes me in a way that he won't get hurt? I know he's my best friend and anything that happens will be okay for the both of us. But he liked her before I did. Please help. :)

If it was me, I'd let him have her :P. I dont know your exact situation, but in general I value my friendship with my close friends more than a relationship with a girl, you can still be friends with her after all. Bear in mind I have very little experience though. Also, he did like her first.... tno-

Call dibs. It is legally binding. On a serious note, it's not either of you that decides who "gets" her. She is the one deciding who she wants to be with.

Does he know that you like her ? Well I think that you should "give" her to him ... If she likes you more, then he will understand. Provided he's your best friend, he'll definitely understand. You did give him a chance anyway xD
