Spammer's Bin / Is it wrong to hate a race?

My runner's club signed me up for the 20k Marathon, but I only like doing 5-10K races so I can keep my stamina but still perform well. How would I tell them I don't like their race?! And to pluck the courage to un-assign myself from it?

The thread title is a joke. Anyways, just tell him that you prefer the other races, and if he thinks you should do this one, then he thinks your ready and you can do it.
