seems like a normal ayatori trick to me...he just grabbed it with his palm up then moved to palm down to release the pen

But KTrinh did an Ayatori trick like this: TA Extended T2-34~ Ayatori Trick> catch in 12. Essentially an Ayatori Trick involves a violent grab of the pen, and then toss it up and catch in any fingerslot. How it starts is irrelevent, so long as it leads up to the grab.
