This is my first time posting on upsb so just a quick thank you to everyone's posts on here, they're very helpful :). I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice about incorporating my thumb more into combos other than TAs and thumbflap tricks. A good example of this is in Vic's best of video at 1:15 and 1:27. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZqiTYisBdE) How does he do that??? Cheers :)

The tricks Vic use in that time interval include the following: thumb-flap charge reverse > fl. ta reverse, tipped charge, tipped sonic, and extended TA. I think he basically used all the thumb tricks there is in the combo, besides fake double.

Tipped sonics look good in combos at certain angles. I favored them when I freestyled.

Or TF charge rev> fl Pass rev TF-12 like how Peem often does. Essentially it's just dropping the pen from the thumbflap into 12.

Dont get into that habit. It either looks REALLY good or really noob. Its also hard to break the habit of doing them if you think they look bad.

I see what you mean. I've had a look around and gotten some ideas but it does look really noob when I do it. I have a few more ideas on how it's done but need some more practice clearly :P Cheers guys -
