I hear people talking about what mods 'intermediate spinners' should use, and what 'n00bs' shouldn't use. But i don't know the distinction!

You'll know for yourself when you're beyond being a newcomer. There is no specific set of criteria for being intermediate or very good or nooby. You just need to build a decent trick base and be able to form decent linkages I suppose, get a good angle and good camera, and be a moderately smooth spinner. Smooth as in your spinning doesn't look choppy.

+1 Nacho. Basically when you see more people at a lower level than you, then you know you've improved and moved out of the 'noob' category.

The lines to distinguish a beginner and an intermediate spinner was never drawn and will never be. It's always a relative thing. I think a lot of spinners experience this, but you'll just get this feeling that tells you that you've "leveled up" in PSing. I can't really experience it but it's as though you just realize that you are reasonably better then you were a few days ago.

When you get smoother? lol Not too many definite answers for that man. Look, dont focus on wether you are a beginner, intermediate or pro, just focus on getting better, belive me man, thats all that matters no matter where you are, even if your a pro, getting better :)

you can tell if you can do the fundementals and a couple of other easy tricks and maybe a easy combo, and if you think you are ready than you can try a intermediate trick and if you can do it than you should be at the beggining of intermediate level. There really is no definite way its pretty much when your ready
