Yeah, I've received a lot of requests for the replica that I made, so here it is. List of People who were interested: @Supergirl Super crappy quality, I can barely even spin this mod. I normally spin it without tips. Also, I'm using the camera I use for pictures, I don't have a video camera. I don't even have a tripod so I'm just holding it with my right hand. :/ If you have any comments, suggestions, or questions, post it in this thread or send me a PM. Thanks!

Vic probably has many variations of the mod, but the one I made was based on that picture, because it was the clearest picture I could find, making it a good reference. Name: Vicgotgame Emboss (Replica) COG = COP Length: 24 cm Weight: ~25 grams? VGG Emboss > VGG Mod Style: DC Writable: No Estimated Cost: 25 USD This is too heavy for me to spin... but it's fine if you take out the tips. :) [spoiler=Tutorial] Materials: (2) Emboss (2 Large Caps, 2 Small Caps, 1 Body) (1) Black Beifa (grip) (1) White Sailor (grip) (2) Dr Grip (grips) (2) Airfit (tips) (2) Comssa (body) Tools: Saw Sander Hot Glue X-Acto http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j355/CloudUPSB/IMG_7683.jpg Step 1: Cutting the Grips Cut the Beifa at the 4 end sections, discard the 2 leftover sections. Cut 2 rings of white Sailors. Cut 2 cm of the Dr Grip Grips. http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j355/CloudUPSB/IMG_7685.jpg Step 2: Preparing the Small Caps and the Body Body: Take out the backplug. Take out the ink. Rub the body clean (Guitrum's Paper method works really well). Put the backplug back in. Small Caps: Cut the caps at 1 cm from the end that goes in the backplug as shown in the picture. To make clean cuts, cut it with a saw, then sand it even with sandpaper/sander. Finally, cut it clean with an X-Acto. http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j355/CloudUPSB/Edited.jpg Step 3: Putting in the Comssa Body Cut the Comssa body at 1.5 cm. Measurement should be exact. Cuts do not need to be clean, since it is hidden. Pay close attention to the next few steps. Put the Sailor rings on the Emboss backplug. Put the cut Comssa body on the Emboss backplug, UNCUT side facing in. Shove the Comssa body INTO the Emboss Large caps, using the backplug to push it in. thanks for the video, looks pretty much like when vic spins it i would have to say that your replica is pretty spot on, good work on the mod, though im not sure if vic will be too happy that you released this into the public

@MickChickenn Well, IMO the mod is way too long for me lol. My hand (base of palm to tip of middle finger) is 18 cm. The mod is 24 cm. It might just be the crappy video quality.

@Syrti I spin it tipless. It also nice with signo tips, though the shape is different. Never had KS Online, Airfit Jell still feels too heavy.

@Supergirl Try leaving out the Sailor Rings between the Emboss Caps if that is still too long, only extend one side (i did that with my emboss and i LOVE IT) if those two aren't to your liking then just stick with the regular emboss w/ airfit + dr. grips

The easiest way to archieve the looks is to cut the stuff where the caps should be from the emboss body, put some thinner pen body piece at each side (may it be comssa, pirat, noname pen it doesnt matter)put a piece of the small caps or another emboss body and sailor grip on it eh voilà :) What i personally did is cut nothing, dont care about extra length and put sailor grip then big emboss cap on the body and its a nice mod as well, i like it more if its shorter:)

Yeah I agree. If u really want a mod that looks like vcc emboss, just use a regular emboss mod and stick dr grips on the caps

Emboss bodies are VERY thick. You can put comssa bodies inside them they are that thick. It takes some getting used to. -

@Fuse okay so... -you have your emboss body. -put on the 1 cm section of the small emboss cap ONTO the marker point as if you are going to cap it, so all the way back til it meets the body. -the sailor rings go on the same way to the cap section. -The comssa section goes INTO the large emboss cap. (smooth side facing OUT) -put hot glue on and around the protrusion of where felt tip of the emboss should be. -push the large emboss cap until it meets the sailor rings. idk why this is so hard, there are pics O-o

@Danny116 thanks, I don't have the pens right now. That made it clear. UPDATE: (sorry for double post!) I am currently modding the pen. I did everything, including shoving the comssa piece INTO the cap, to the point where it is completely inside and will NOT come out. The big cap is not fitting onto the body, it is loose. What do I do? UPDATE 2: I managed to get the comssa piece out, finally. I am going to make an emboss mod with VGG emboss caps.

@Ignator u can use airfit grips but it's harder to put the airfit grips on the emboss caps than with dr grip grips and the mod will be lighter

Airfit is very near to dr grip weight, so likely only 1 gram of difference. I do not recommend it. Having put it on several times myself, it's extremely hard and unfun to do, you will wish you had not bothered. Buy Dr Grip grips, you can place them in hot water and slide them on in one go if you do it right.

Ok thanks for the advice but i think ill just go with the airfit grips because i dont really like Dr Grip Grips because 1.They're really expensive and 2. I dont like the feel of them, the tips of my finger are very rough so airfit grips are in my opininion more comfortable.
