@ninja have you learned hai tua yet? if you learned that already (which imo is easier) it is much easier to learn this trick (again all in my opinion) because the beginning is pretty much the same as a hai tua.. its just the "grab" or whatever you want to call it is right before when you could do the fl ta at the end of a hai tua.. just a suggestion.. btw sumPINOYkid's ayatori trick tutorial:

if u can do the hai tua this trick is only a little different like i said.. try doing just the first part of the hai tua (the "extended ta t1-4" part) and then just let it drop off the end.. then after u can do that rather consistently, do it again and move ur hand to the right (if right handed or left for left handers) and grab the pen.. and keep practicing that.. keep in mind this is a fast trick so you have to wait until the pen clears the top of ur hand and goes underneath and quickly shoot ur hand out to grab the pen.. after u get that mastered, just slightly turn ur hand inward while releasing the pen and then catching it in whatever fingerslot u want. -

If you understand what mirroring means, than the ayotori throw is a mirrored swivel release.

Apologies. I made a mistake. it's not a mirroered swivel release but a shadow TF release. -

I don't think it matters what order you learn the two in whether it be hai tua first then ayatori trick or vice versa. Regardless of order, they both start the same way (the going off the back of the hand part) and that's the only part that's identical in both. I'm trying to say that if you learned say the hai tua first, you would be able to learn the ayatori easier because you would already know how to do the off the back of the hand part. But really if you think about it, if you plan on learning both, it doesn't matter the order because you still learn the spin of the back of the hand for either one. I learned hai tua before ayatori because I thought the hai tua was easier to control. -

I don't know if I'm doing the twisted sonic double bust right. I do the TW bust then right before it lands in the TF I hit it with my index finger do it flies for a little bit then falls into 12 slot

@DAIGO as far as im concerned there isnt a double bust in the ayatori trick...do you mean to do a double bust to start it? is it just me but i feel that the original version of this trick has been lost/put on the backburner. all i see these days is the Aeriel verision like how vicgotgame and quite frankly most ppl are doing it. At 0:12, "tw. Sonic > Thumbaround > indexpinkybak rev 12-tf> shadow tf - 12" i tried to break down best i can...but at any rate...no aerials :/

Yea double bust to start...is that even possible? O.o
-
Date: Sat, Jan 21 2012 21:27:02
tw. sonic bust 23-12 > index bust 12-12 > pass rev 12-t1 > ayatori trick

Hmmmm. Is it actually necessary to catch the pen near the top in order to do the 'toss' properly or can you catch it near the middle or bottom?

actually the real trick done by ayatori was done by catching the pen a bit slightly more to the back =) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnUC5IuYH6s -

Hmmm. Everyone I ask and most tutorials tell you to catch it at the front because it's easier. I guess Ayatori is to pro to catch it at the front/middle. =/
