I think instead of the mid pass, he just spins it on his finger, hence the spider spin. I cant do it though...

Actually there's no spider spin in this combo itself. It's just arounds and fingerless arounds(powerpass). MA 23-23 ~ FL RA 0.5 23-34 > Pass 34-23 & repeat

    1. THIS ISN'T POWERPASS YOU FOOLS WHO CAN'T NAME STUFF (jokes, but it isn't powerpass...even though >90% of spinners/commenters don't seem to know this heh) 2. this isn't actually spiderspin, alvaris is correct it's just a middlearound (with fingers closed), when pen has spun about 0.5 revolutions, you extend ring and pinky finger, and let the momentum of the pen finish the middlearound and continue spinning 0.5 revolutions over your ring finger (in doing so, 'close' your ring finger so only pinky finger is sticking out) to be caught in 34 slot, then pass rev to 23 and repeat breakdown is [middlearound 23-23 ~> fingerless ringaround 0.5 23-34 > pass reverse 34-23] continuous
