whats the advantage of a dedicated ps video site?

It's a learning experience for me, and just for giggles. I guess. Videos can be put into categories, easier to define your search for collabs/combos/solos/etc, it also doubles as a social site for pen spinning, ability to upload pictures/galleries. But it'll just be something fun for me to play around with. Haha.

lol i like the idea but can you make it more socialable like UPSB is? -

It's not really intended to be used like UPSB. UPSB is a forum, which makes it more focused on the social aspect. PS-Tube just focuses media sharing. It has the minimum for socializing though. Ex: Private Messaging, User Groups (Which are like the teams/groups in UPSB, you get a private discussion place.), youtube comment style on videos/channels, etc.

Totally, it's quite flexible to add stuff. I'm already hosting a Mumble Server, an imageboard and a forum as well. Haha. I mean: http://www.speedtest.net/result/1406708324.png just allows for it.

FPSB had something like that, you could indicate which spinners were in the collab and at what time (skip to time). also had slo-mo feature and every spinner had a profile, that listed which collabs they participated in

I really like the idea! I suggest we add something like tiny chat with a shoutbox and a video webcam section so people can have live battle or talking and chat and spin like we do in tinychat -
