******Emboss owners******* do the gripless caps, thick barrel, odd momentum, or non circular caps cause as much of a problem as they seem?

Last time I did something like that, I used a tube to put the grip around it, placed it on a powered screwdriver (so the tube will rotate) Then place the knife into the grip so it turn around when you cut it. I think it looks kinda neat. ^_^ Not sure if this is something other modders use, but I enjoyed the technique!!~ @Raiz

something else that I mess up on is de-clipping hyper jell caps. once I just tried to snap it off quickly, so I grabbed the clip with my needlenose pliers, counted to three, jerked upward, and the clip came off!... along with the rest of the top of the cap, so I basically scrapped a cap that I barely began to mod with -_-

How do I remove the back plug of the latest supertip? The latest ones are rather hard to remove and using excess force with pliers can damage the supertip backplug and ruin it. Any tips on how to avoid this and remove it successfully?

I use needle-nose pliers for this one. Twist it abit before pulling. It may take a few attempts. Its alot easier if u get someone to help u pull it. -potentially sexual comment-

the way i found that works sometimes is to find a chopstick or pencil that will fit (at least somewhat tightly) into a signo tip. when put the chopstick into the tip that is stuck, twist and push it forward so you screw the tip onto it. if its on tightly, there should be enough grip for you to pull it out... this doesnt always work for me though... EDIT: btw the general modding questions thread is stickied to the "pen modifications" section http://forum.upsb.info/showthread.php?t=23 your question is fine here too.
