hi guys im facing an interview . and i need some information about Japan and Japanese culture like the lifestyle food community way u learn at school some important info about Japan and some basic Japanese word if can . :) i hope Japanese people or someone can help me about this :help:

@Van .. how Japanese learn in school ? i heard in japan cant speak english cuz not everyone understand .. is it right ? and tell me about the 'WABAKI' thing ? :)

@GigaByte Okay, about english Like foreign language here, Japanese start learning English at around middle school But like learning Spanish or any other language, it's basically kindergarten stuff for native ppl. So I'm pretty sure educated ppl and kids will understand English to some point, just like u will understand some Spanish after u took classes (or French w/e) What we do in school is basically the same in the US...or anywhere I'm pretty sure, except that they have a field day event where they split in to a Red team and a White team, representing the Japanese Flag and compete against each other in many different activities (tug-a-war, short distant running, long distant running, obstacle race running, Relay race etc.) And WTF is a wabaki?

Read more manga. Watch more jdramas which has 'normal' school students. Altho they're fake, but at least it should show you a rough image on how japan is like..

@GigaByte; I think you mean uwabaki...(上履き) Yea it's shoes u wear in school; u have to change in to them every day when u get to school

lol . my friend said wabaki .. how about bicycle in Japan ? it bicycle is main transportation for student ? how technology there ? good ? robot ? XD
