Lightshows, manipulating lights to form figures. they are performed primarily at raves for people that have most likely been using certain "substances" i wont mention. below is arguably the best lightshow on youtube. seeing that everyone here on upsb should have a good amount of finger dexterity from spinning, learning would be a breeze. the following video is the first of a three part tutorial on how to lightshow. these tutorials are done by the same person as the first video so you know your learning from the best :) here is a link to where gloves and lights can be bought for the cheapest prices. its the PENWISH of the lightshow community http://www.orbitlightshow.com/

Wow they have some mighty strong and flexible hands. i wonder if they can do PSing while dong that. I think their finger and hand exercises will be very relevant to us. Their hand-eye coordination is insanely good.

:whut: Is this supposed to be punny? Also, whats the differnce between using these and those cheap keychain LEDs that you get for free at promo events? Call my a chepa asian, but im not about to spend 35$ on a pair of 50 cent gloves and a couple of colourchanging LEDs :p

Jan;55375]People have way too much time on their hands.
You say this and yet you spend just as much time practicing spinning. If you cant appreciate the style and creativity, the please just :gtfo: [QUOTE=Colin wrote: :whut: Is this supposed to be punny? These have different modes, better battery life and are more durable. Youre paying for quality. And 35$ is pretty cheap for a glove set, sets with Inovas can be over $100 >__<

A new store recently opened up at the northridge mall and they sell these gloves. I was considering buying them cuz I met a guy at a laser tag thing and when it was like pitch black he was using those gloves. It looked pretty cool but I'm kinda low on cash right now. ._.

a good starter set would be about $60. buy 8 complete micromaxes with matching 2 color strobe bulbs. later on you can mess with it easily, to change the color and light type you only need to change the bulbs, which are about $2 each. i use nibbler 6-mode thumbs, some people like inovas on their palms, all around $8 each for a complete

I don't have a glove set yet, but I've checked that up some time ago, I think OrbitLightShow got cheaper shipping, dont know how good they are compared to Emazinglights though... Seen their logo appear on some lightshow videos before so they should at least be trustable, but maybe you should check it up just in case

i do have a tendency of going too fast sometimes, but i wouldn't say i did in that show. it was a flowshow, basically showing off the fact that i can go at that speed without any hiccups in my move progression. its like penspinning, everything sort of looks the same til you get an idea of the different moves and whatnot

it's good, but OLS' new imax chip from china seems to make everything we've been doing obsolete... it's just a matter of a few months imo before we see some real progress with those
