I'm a beginner and just need something to play with. I dont want to go hardcore with spinning either but I can do all the fundamentals and 1 or 2 others. Anyway, I first bought this pen from ebay but it broke after 2 weeks or so http://cgi.ebay.com/Pen-Spinning-BLK-Gel-Ink-Pen-Basic-Level-20cm-long-B29-/370504041899?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PensPencils_WritingEquipment_SM&hash=item5643c305ab I'm looking at buying this pen http://penwish.com/product_info.php?products_id=812 Would you recommend it? Anything that's decent and not too long would be fine with me :) Thanks for the help

RSVP pens are pretty good, too http://penwish.com/index.php?cPath=107_134 just stick the cap on the backcap bictories are also pretty good... but they're very light.

cloud: how long is the comssa pen? i have kind of a small and skinny hand so length and weight might be a problem for me. n3wby: wouldnt the cap get in the way of spinning? i'm practicing devil's sonic so would the cap be a problem? If it really is not then i would definitely consider it. Just my definition of dirt cheap haha thanks for the suggestions so far guys :) i really appreciate it. can you guys recommend more on pens priced lower than $10 :)

@JanJan dont worry its just a comssa with hgg tips. it will be fine. its a good beginners pen. rsvp mx is ok but a little backheavy.

For under ten dollars im going to suggest getting RSVP MX or Metallic comssa, though im leaning more toward the comssa.

nice choice of pen to use but if you dont want to go all hardcore about pen spinning then i assume that you're just mainly interested in all the fundamentals and a few advance trick? then you probably want a pen that you can write with too, just like what n3wby said, get a rsvp and put the cap on the back, im sure you can accomplish all fundamental and a few advance tricks with that

A simple pencil could be good enough for all your needs, maybe a unmodded RSVP. If you aren't going to go too far into spinning unmodded pens should be good enough.
