What do you guys define as a good linkage? What should they consist? The linkages i think of are not appealing :(

difficult linkages that need finger flexibility are always impressive, like s777, fire@fox, ...

Do you have any links on good linkages with simple tricks?

Linkage is something non-penspinners cannot quite grasp (and understandably so). I would define it as the way one trick connects to another. A harder/more creative connection = better linkages. Vicgotgame is all i have to say XD

variety of tricks, linking difficult tricks, linking many tricks which require finger flexibility

to me, it's all about the pen moving around in a decently complicated way... rather than the usual nooby 12-23-34-23-12-34-23-12-t1-etc with things like sonic and twisted sonic. going between odd finger slots like 13, 24, 14 and t# consistently while doing more difficult tricks really make a linkage good

think of tricks that can go together but are hard for you to do smoothly for some reason then practice them until you get them smooth. What penja said is bang on. Eriror is a good spinner to look at for linkages.

Doesnt that kinda mean its hard to pull off a good linkage when you dont have a variety of reverse tricks?

yeah, learning your reverses improves your spinning skills like never before.
