Pen Modifications / Water for weight?

Has anyone ever considered using water for weight on a mod? I know Bic Round Stic back plugs are pretty tight in Bic Round Stics. Anyone ever thought of/tried this?

Generally you don't want to add weight to the body of a mod. It'll ruin whatever momentum the pen has already. The body should be as light as possible while the ends of the pen are weighted.

I know, I mean putting water at the ends.

I think I know what he means. Use body as weight for ends. Hard to interpret, but yeah. cut the RS body into sections, then...yeah. concept is up for interpretation..

Water moving around inside could be a problem. :O.

idea is like your name, it will prolly not work unless you freeze it and spin in a cold spot

Well, it's just an idea. But thanks for hating on me.

It would be like iMatts moving momentum concept (sorry i dont remember the exact name ;D ). That actually gives you a completely new feeling while spinning.. just try it out by adding something that slides/moves to your mods. (ex: put a g2 spring on the mx inktube)

Cool idea imo. But carrying it out could be a problem. Leaking or possibly exploding could be pretty bad :|

If you did it I dont think youve want it sloshing around, that would be counter productive to your momentum (I think?) also, might I suggest oil? or something syrupy? Liquid silicone maybe, Seems overly complicated when tips work, plus it'd be hell if it leaked... :\ j.s.

Its a nice idea but there are thing to consider, the slightest leak could ruin the mod. And it would have to be sealed very tight.

hot glue seals hella nice. as for moving momentum, try a vgg type mod (2 supertips) and fill the supertips with a couple of hggs on each side.

or maybe this would be like a firefly mod?looks nice but spins like shit

Didn't someone try to do this? I remember someone telling me they wanted to spin "water-based" mods. Well, anyway, I don't think it's a great idea because what happens when you drop it? Wouldn't something pop and the water just explodes out? And doesn't water evaporation cause weird stenches? I don't think I want that in my pen. :/

@Frip Dynamic Action? (or something like that?)

Leaking. I think it could make pen spinning easier. There is water in a hoola hoop. Might have same effect.

The water would make the weight unbalanced because its not stable

I have made an rsvp mod with water inside. It spun just fine for me. I really just wanted to stare at it though. It was black and yellow with yellow water inside. ~KTSpinner~
