I just remembered watching an advertisement of a new handphone. I can't remember which model or brand but it was really cool and it was made based on like hand manipulation stuff. One of those scenes showed pen spinning for a short while. Not sure who spun and it was an ordinary pen not modded.

These this show in chinese came out this year a few weaks ago and it is a criminal movie and I saw this guy spinning a blue mod it awesome that how I got to become a pen spinner lol. Yeah LOL cause my hands were too big, they tanned them, trimmed my nails, buffed my nails, applied make-up to my hand (and my whole arm tbh), they even smoothed down the hairs on my arm :D

That was a horrible commercial, I think I just puked a little too. Anyways, when Bonkura made his appearance on tv, those were very good times. He had such a good sense of humor too and I would of loved to of met him.

Skip to 15 mins for some of the best spinning i've ever seen preformed. I have to say, snow really nailed it down, THIS is what spinning should be. Even more at about 20:15. Pretty sure snow is my favourite spinner now. If you look back at the supawit/spinnerpeem tv appearances, and at snows theres a huge difference in showmanship and actually imo, skill when it comes to spinning as a whole. Spinnings got to communicate something more than just your fingers, you have to use the beauty of it to convey something.

Yeah, that's the most optimal way to do live performances I think, lots of hand movement in artistic ways, as it's less about the complexity or difficulty of the trick and more about the motion it causes the pen to move in. e.g. why do a less noticeable flush sonic for that conic instead of a regular sonic or inverse sonic, as it won't make a difference to audience usually especially if doing hand motions like him, but it WILL make a difference in terms of the likelyhood you'll do it well and the chances you'll drop. EDIT: Hawt damn snow is a boss. I agree, new favorite spinner in terms of innovation/style

@Walkaz: The pen spinners (from left to right) are: VictGotGame, Kam, and ZKhan. Cloud and Pacman didn't do the spinning for the commercial, but were very interested in PS. We taught PacMan and Mike Song a few pen spinning moves. Cloud actually asked me to teach him some PS moves, but since he was the main dancer, he was always busy and I never had time to teach him. They were all very talented and cool people, and it was really great working with Vic and Zkhan on this. FYI, we did practice and film more than a synchronized Sonic, lol. But I guess they had too much footage to include in the commercial and decided to cut PS short. I have some footage on my laptop of the stuff we practiced, so I'll post that on my YouTube Channel.

@exclusive: NDAs are usually concerned with us revealing trade secrets, specially about the product and what possible upcoming marketing strategies you might hear. But now that the commercial is out, people can just recognize who's in the commercial, so us talking about it is no big deal. As far as the footage, it was shot using my laptop while we practiced in the hotel room...it's not footage they shot, so I don't think it's a big deal. Specially since they're simple combos that anyone could have come up with (although doing them in sync was quite a pain xD ) But thanks for the concern...i've signed so many NDAs that sometimes I even forget I did :P
