Well since your in the US, finding BIC Round Stics might be pretty easy to find. I'm sure you've seen 'em somewhere before http://content.etilize.com/Large/11960977.jpg and you can get then in practically any store but maybe not a petstore (you may have clear or white ones, or ones with brands on them). So once you get these you can make a bictory for a beginner penmod. http://www.upsb.info/wiki/index.php?title=Bictory

I would start off with Sam's suggestion with the BICtory. Once you feel like you want to take the next step, make a subbed RSVP MX shown here: http://www.upsb.info/wiki/index.php?title=RSVP_MX What I mean by "subbed" is that you can use other pen parts to substitute for the original parts. HGG's are fairly rare in the U.S., so you might want to use a signo tip instead of the HGG tip, and a G2 grip instead of the HGG grip. Oh yes, one more thing. When looking for a signo tip, look for these: http://www.uniball.com/catalog/show/product.php?no=12 Instead of pens like these: http://www.thisnext.com/item/DAC324CC/07D1B5C6/uni-ball-Signo-Gel-207 The tip needs to be metal. The pens in the second link actually have plastic tips, although you might not be able to tell the difference.

There's a million different parts that can be used for pen modding. Which ones specifically depend on what mod you're making. All you need to do is search and look around the forum/wiki to see which parts you'll need for which mod. Please search next time. Closed.
