@Tialys Yeah the most recent study said it was by FAR the most valuable brand name in the world An old joke says "If you destroy every Coke plant in the world they'll rebuild and be profitable again in 3 months but if you wiped every person's brain in the world they'd crash and burn in 3 weeks" I think something similar applies to Apple only even more so lol

The latest version of iTunes and Mac OS X both run perfectly fine on my 4 year old MBP.. not sure what's causing his problem.. perhaps he didn't upgrade his OS because as far as I know, iTunes 10 requires either 10.5 Leopard or 10.6 Snow Leopard to run it.. again, my 4 year old MBP running 10.6 can run iTunes 10 perfectly fine.. It'll be outdated within one year and none of the core features other than aesthetics and a small bump in performance. A $20 Sansa Clip out of the gate can already play FLAC audio files with SDHC micro-sd slot (up to 64GB storage) for still under $100 altogether than an iPod. Wow I thought UPSB would be more intelligent then to have this silly debate, the majority of people who don't like apple products can't afford them so they shitstorm anyone who has anything apple. Grow up, I have a mac and a PC but I love my PC to shits and without it I'd be screwed. However, like now when theres a powercut the battery life on my mac blows PC off the scale.

Haha my only original point is that regardless of the fact that the products suck for what you're paying, even if they were reasonably priced I'd never buy one because Apple will then assume they own your ass and proceed to fuck it whenever they feel bored

The only problem I have (personally) with apple products is usability. I can feel my mind melting whenever I have to use applications on the iMac's at school. There's so much clicking and redundancy, and I encounter similar errors and problems (crashing) as I do on PC's. (only, the mac is supposed to be a high end computer...) It's like windows Vista for toddlers. The only reason I like the ipod touch/ipad is the fact that you can jailbreak the shit out of it. I love itunes U, except many of the videos are available through other resources and you have to know what you're looking for, otherwise it's really commercialized/gimicky.
