Is anyone up for restarting Asian Cup as an "amateurs" (cannot have competed in a WT/WC) only event? I think we have to contact the former organizer for permission, but I don't remember his name.

Why would UPSB have anything to do with that?

    UPSB has Asians as well.

Is it a tournament for asian? I thought it was between the asian boards It's kind of strange to me to have an asian-person only tournament, especially if they don't even live in asia

UPSB sent a team of asian-only people (no EK or vgg), so theoretically, if some board like GPC had enough asians, they could send a team to compete.

IMO, Asian Cup turned out some pretty good stuff.

I think it would be more successful if it were a tournament.

I think Hippo means like an individual, not team based. IMO, one of the coolest things about the AC was the format... the last round collaborations were the highlights.
