Off-topic / Anyone here know/play Touhou?

If no, I'm gonna explain it. The Touhou Project (東方Project) is a series of 2D (with 3D background) vertically-scrolling danmaku shooting games made by Team Shanghai Alice. They are similar to regular shooting games, but focus more on weaving through complex patterns containing anywhere from dozens to hundreds of bullets. Every game in the Touhou series is set in the fantasy land of Gensokyo, and the series is known for its huge cast of characters, well-developed storylines, and related materials such as music CDs, fan-made comics and animated videos made to the music.-wikipedia There are TONS of touhou memes in the internet that some of you guys already seen but didn't know that it was touhou, same with fan arts, doujins & music. A good example is ellusion67's video "Pen Spinning WT11 Round 4 Compilation", the music he used is a cover of the last stage bgm of touhou 12. Touhou is in Guinness World Records! Playing Hard on Imperishable night (Th 8) but on 12,8 I cant get past first level without continues on hard, so I play normal there >_> controller: Keyboard! \o/ Will try to film if anyone want to, have'nt bothered with it >_< got two friends to start playing it too, Bangaku ftw xD

In Touhou 8 the real moon is replaced with a fake one, and you want to bring the real one back before the moon festival (if I remember correctly)

What are you saying, you're a ninja! @_@ Expand your visual range, don't focus on just your character or boss. Try to look at a greater area so you can read more bullets and try to determine their paths, with enough practice, your ninja skills will get better! -

I play, love and adore Touhou, but I still have slight trouble reading the entire story when playing. My Japanese is only so-so. That is why I have stopped playing them and started watching the myriad of vids and short animations touhou have spawned. EDIT:

No, they merely hid it. The passage between the moon and Gensōkyō were hidden in order to protect ....(I forget their names. it is the ones that were exiled there and the rabbits. I got into Touhou around 5 years ago due to the music [StepMania, yaya]. Played it for a while, then got into other games of the same type, like Ikaruga and stuff. Still play it once in a while, but eventually it's more about memorization than real reflexes.

try playing youyou kengeki muso or sky arena. doujin games but 3d and i think are pretty good xD kengeki cant save for me and sky arena takes forever to load tho Q_____Q
