Snow, although he unfortunately lost, he is never defeated. He is the one that brings 2P2H to a new zenith, and also the one who greatly executes 2P1H in a WT. We will never forget him. And supawit127 too. Snow and supawit, we all love you, you know this. And you guys were the best, and will always be. ^_^

Except kin's the best and you all need to recognize that. Basically here's what happened in layman's terms. Snow was incredibly sloppy going up against probably one of the most controlled spinners in the world, actually he is the most controlled spinner, no one can do what s777 can do. Kin just demolished, he showed that his left hand was a boss and on top of all that he uses an MX for crying out loud, none of you can do that. Supawit has been the redheaded step child in the penspinning world since he came to the scene with his buddy Peem. Basically he will always be #2 or in this case #3 or #4, someone's gotta do it. Oh and the few original mini combos that he has are ugly.

I find it amusing how Kin was literally just as good in WT09, yet fricken A-13x got butthurt about combo time limit >.< Kin would have absolutely demolished WT09 hahahahaha. I love kin and S777 equally as much. I don't care about who wins now. I just want to see some awesome linkages :D

NOT. Joice of pen is yours. If you're sure you can spin well with MX, or DC comssa, go for it. Wieght of the pen isn't counted into difficulty criteria, because many times you cannot be sure with what mod someone's spinning. There's so many mod invented. This time we're sure it's an MX, but don't make an exception for one man. Anyway, I hope, that final will be freakin awesome, and both spinners have sth amazing and new to show -

I had thought (without looking at the combos) that finals would be supawit vs s777, though with some struggle for those two. I'm actually pretty surprised that kin beat supawit, though I do believe it's justified. It's pretty interesting how in '09 a buster spinner wins and now in '11, it's the complete opposite with either an MX or a light mod spinner winning. Mods generally are not taken into account for judging, and so that makes kin just unbelievable this round. Kin had a stronger combo than supawit, though it was kinda like comparing apples and oranges in some respects, but what really made supawit seem weaker this round was his control. Sacrificing control to go for difficulty wasn't a smart move against kin imo. But then we must take a step back and think, not only was kin's combo stronger but he also did it with an MX... It's pretty amazing. Though granted, some may not agree that kin's combo was stronger...but regardless, the judges have concluded that kin's combo is stronger and they are all experienced spinners who I usually trust and agree with. Though sometimes it's not the same as my own predictions, people look at things differently and value things differently...and it's the collective group of these differing values and opinions that shows the majority of the collective supporting kin's win. --When it comes down to it though, many things can be debatable because there will always be people who disagree. Anyway, next round will be interesting--both spinners focus on control and are proficient at spinning light mods. We'll see how that plays out though. (I support kin! :X lol )

Your actualyl believe someone like him (whom by his actual actions seems like a person with a shitty attitdued himself) and what he says about s777? ponkuto is so godly in doing both hand spinning and some extraordinary creativity moves,but who cares?everyone,especially those snow's fans give all the credits to snow when actually ther are quite a lot of ppl have been trying to do the same thing(but snow did better than them).and imo his hand movements are from pyralux i guess?originality?pioneer?

well, if snow could only use one of his hands, he'd probably have been knocked out in R1 or R2, but he got to R5 by using both hands...so i say it was pretty effective xD hmm, it's not so much an explicit 'expansion' like how peem opened up power tricks of course, but it does show that 1p2h, 2p2h, 2p1h can be used together, extensively and be quite effective...while snow's style is highly artistic, it is not that 'original' as pointed out by quite a few people earlier in this thread, it does seem to be the first time when various known elements of PS (use of 2 hands, synchronised and de-synchronised spinning, 2p1h and artistic 'hand waving' xD) have been integrated together... when i think about it a bit more, snow is not so much a 'pioneer' of a new distinct style/aspect of PS, but more someone who is able to take various elements and combine them fairly well... -

BaiMai masterfully combines various elements of 2p2h in combos. You can take this BaiMai argument however you want, but if any spinner in this tournament should be credited with such contribution to 2p2h pen spinning it should be him. Snow just doesn't seem to fit this mold. [/super late] -

This is the first time this tornament that s777 has impressed me. In previous rounds i think he focused too much on difficulty of linkages, and the combo was not as visually appealing. This round, he upped the difficulty, but he also brought that style he had before the WT that made me support him in the first place. Kin on the other hand, a lot of the combo was twisted sonic variations. Could throw in a complaint about how we've seen the triangle pass every round and stopped being original. The transition from the tp to the bust was nice though, as were some other elements in there, but not enough to blow me away, especially at WT level, and the final as well in my eyes, i think s777 has this

lol whoops presssed the like button xD was meant to press the quote. anywho. Smoothness is not only definted by change of tempo speeed. You can be smooth and have a continous change in tempo speed. This kinda of control also shows smoothness. Smoothness is more about how the pen flows between speeds. An undeliberate (whcih is usually obvious) awkward change in speed is bad smoothness, a gradual or deliberate change in speed is also considered smoothness. -

rofl Medsas is my old youtube account, that's not Megas and what I meant to say is that "within a rotation", the speed should be constant, its ok to change speed, as long as "within a rotation" its the same -

what zombo said. During a roation when you speed up and slow down it will make the spinning awkward too look at because your suddenly speeding up and suddenly slowing down and it can make the spinning unappealing. IMO s777 will win because his combo to me looks harder and changing the speed also adds an effect of making it look harder as well. Kin, however changes speed also because of the triangle pass. I have never seen a video of a spinner who does a triangle pass that does not slow down to it and speeds up after. -

what i'm more interested in (rather than the result itself, it seems kinda clear to me who will win) is how much fame the winner will get (peem got on TV in a few countries because he won WT09), and the path PS will take in light of WT11 results (how popular will 2h/2p spinning become? will mx's make an epic comeback? what will happen to power tricks? will beginners start wanting to use mx, DC comssa, rushons and S777 mx's? will they learn triangle pass and flush sonic before proper linkages? etc) at any rate, s777 has inspired me to learn that funny anti-grav indexaround thing he did for finisher in R6, it looks cool, but as a finisher the final catch was kinda shifty (well, i guess he had this issue with his R5 and R4 vid finishers to an extent too); but rest of combo i have no words - crazy everything, i need to look closer; but i expected something not just amazing, but revolutionary...maybe a radically different hybrid or take on PS no one has done before, or crazy asynch 2h spinning/transfers...how much further can s777's 1p1h spinning go? it also makes me ask the unavoidable question - if it had been supawit in R6 and not kin, would s777 have made a different combo? would he have used his left hand too? would he have come up with new ideas to face supawit (who could have entirely new power tricks and 1p2h just waiting to be used?) we'll never know, i guess :( i must applaud kin for his valiant effort, against an opponent like s777 it must be crazy T__T that being said, i also expected more from him - i think he can do more tricks on left hand, and i've seen him use 2p1h in one of his FS's a while ago; so i expected him to use 2p1h at least for R6 to pull out his final 'ace'...nonetheless, kin showed that using an mx in WT against heavy stick spinners is still effective if your skill is high enough xD i wonder if use of triangle passes will rise now... note: trend of 2nd place spinner in WT using 2 hands and being from a european country has been broken in 2011 (random trivia? lol) congrats kin and s777 on getting to finals, it is an achievement i can barely comprehend. regardless of the outcome, they have both earned a place in PS history :)

is that combo where he basically did 2p2h sync spinning? that isn't a very effective use of 2p2h (outside of collabs, perhaps), because his right hand skills would be limited to what his left hand was doing, i'm sure he could've planned something far more effective for a WT...i think Oo" can't be 100% sure, i have no idea what goes on in FPSB -.- -

s777's style can be notated as fast and slow. Saying that s777 isn't smooth is like saying cows make orange juice. In my opinion, the speed change adds a ton of suspense to the combo.

when i look back at the WT07 vids, i say wow spinning has improved so much since then, imagine saying the same thing 4 years later that s777's combo was simple o_O. anyways i think s777 deserves to be the champ, his spinning had new stuff each round. ps : s777's curly hair looked better lol
