It depends on what kind of collab your doing and the theme and style the spinning is. If its quick and fast then use more of an upbeat song. If its slow and gentle stick to slower songs, classical (romantic, botique and other music styles). I suggest using songs that doesnt have or little lyrics because its often hard to choose a good song that has lyrics reflecting the spinning.

@Breezy a collab is most time internatsional and is longer than a promo and a promo is to promote something (penspinning boards,penspinning pens ect)

Opening theme songs in animes or their OST's are pretty neat for pen spinning. LiSA - Crossing Field (Sword Art Online opening theme song) (Used in Ace 1st) Hatsune Miku - BLACK ROCK SHOOTER (or you could use the one sang by Chouchou)
