Being one of many manipulative arts, pen spinners would get asked this question many times. What I want to know is how you respond to them. Do you give a serious answer, or some bs joking around "in-it-to-have-a-lol" answer? Also, what do you believe to be the best way to answer it? Discuss.

I never mention internet communities, they may give people the impression that they have to be very implicated to except to learn anything. I just say that I watch videos and try to do like what I see. Or often I just answer "that is what high school was for", jokingly.

Most of the time, people look and say: "Woaaaah, what was that? How did you do it?", lawlz. Don't really ask where I learned. ¬¬. But yeah, I usually refer them to the interwebz, and tell them to look for "pen spinning", though, I'm sure they don't ¬¬ xD. :zblader:

that's kinda mean/a pessimistic way of looking at UPSB and penspinning plus, imho, you meet even MORE ppl to add to your social life :thumb: They rarely ask that. However, I just say the internet, or "ur mom" if they're being annoying -.-; They usually ask "HOW DO YOU DO THAT?!" instead, which is also extremely annoying. -

But @JC's response, ppl usually ask "are you moving the pen or is the pen moving itself? :wacko:" lol. so yes, most ppl would actually believe that xD especially the "Azn superpowers," My friends usually don't care cause it's normal (cause I'm azn lol) bottom line, like Arm.'s case, I hate explaining cause I'm probably more into it than anyone else would realize irl. -

truee, not all great spinners are asian. Spinners such as Eriror, Vic, Penja, S777 etc Asian is just stereotypical for pen spinning and personally i hate it.

Not at all. What about THPSC or JEB. They are leading Board with the most creative spinners in the world. They have their own styles and they really make Asian proud :D "stereotypical" is just suitable for Boards like VNPSB, MYPSB, IPSB etc. And that's why they don't have much reputation as well as success in competitions. -

When he tries to do or say something, blow him off, make him feel irrelevant. Dont pay mind. Do what solid has to do throughout the day and thats what matters. @Solid, don't take your eyes off of ANY pens (modded or unmodded). That's what I do, and I haven't lost any pens yet. He sounds like one of those spoiled rich kids who aren't used to being told "No," and would steal one or more of your pens, just to spite you. I don't trust anybody with my pens. That's why I don't loan them to anybody, and I always keep my pens in a box in the cupboard by my desk. Also, I always keep the pens I'm using in my pocket, and never leave them unattended. If it looks cool, chances are people will try to swipe it. But still, what a dick.
