Everybody has strengths and weaknesses in pen spinning. Some examples are: [B]Difficulty[/B] Your spinning is very hard to execute, usually refers to FL/power tricks, but there could be extremely hard linkages too, stalls. (s777 r4), or spinning with extremely light mods/mods that are hard to spin. (kin) Example Spinners: s777, peem [B]Smoothness[/B] Your spinning is very smooth, and flows very nicely. Example Spinners: Supawit127 [B]Control[/B] Having your hand steady and not move around is also part of execution. Example Spinners: HAL (?) [B]Variety[/B] Not repeating tricks, showing off many things that usually appeal to everyone. Example Spinners: Eriror (?) [B] 1p2h/2p2h/2p1h[/B] Example Spinners: Snow These spinners are good with both of their hands, and have good dexterity. [B] Creativity[/B] With creativity, people can do whatever in the heck they want. I think it also refers to creative linkages though. Example Spinners: Ponkotu [B]Spinless[/B] Spinning that isn't spinning... Also involves a lot of creativity and hand motions. Example Spinners: BaiMai [B]Presentation (?)[/B] Having a good angle and lighting is very key. Imo, Vic and Baaron both concentrate on this immensely. Example Spinners: Vicgotgame, Baaron [B]Distinct pleasing style(?)[/B] Style is one of my favorite parts of penspinning, it defines who you are. Some examples of styles are fingerless or s777 (wipers, etc). Speed/slowness, imo falls in here. Example Spinners: It's hard to find someone who has a style that appeals to everyone Can't think of anymore at the moment... Speed/Slowness fits into style in my opinion. Maybe Snow? For me, I think I have okay difficulty, presentation, and 1p2h. I need to work on everything else, especially variety. You can also rate yourself on each thing out of ten. Share yours. :)

i take easy tricks, and put them in stupidly hard links, with an MX. however when i do this, i have some parts where i slow down a lot and lose some smoothness, so it takes me a while to get a combo down well :( and by stupidly hard i mean hard for a 6-monther. :P on an unrelated note, while trying to click this thread, i missed with the cursor four times before i managed to get here.

I have an okay Difficulty, Variety, Presentation, Style, smoothness, Control big time but not creativity I guess :(, I'll work on that later on ;). Also, no spinless o.O.

I probably need to work on my difficulty (don't know any power tricks), and variety. I tend to do a lot of infinities and double charges and twisted sonic busts into thumbarounds.

biggest strength in difficulty (later will include 1p2h/2p2h into this too), also ok-ish in smoothness, control. presentation varies a bit depending on lighting on that day =__=

Difficulty (5/10) well, I don't have any difficulty, my combo's are pretty weak! Smoothness (4.5/10 Don't have this eather:huh: Control (6/10) maybe a bit of this compared of the points above! Variety (6.2/10) hmm, pretty good in this I think 1p2h/2p2h/2p1h (6/10) I have practise this alot, compared with the rest of this, pretty good Creativity (5.5/10) Spinless (6/10) Presentation (5/10) that depends a video, sometimes good, sometimes not really Distinct pleasing style (3/10) I dont have my own style! always used the style of other spinners. I know it suck. but it is true, but I can't come up with my own!

I'd say I'm pretty good in Creativity. I'm still working on Smoothness, Control and Variety. My lighting sucks, so I'll have to work on Presentation.

my good points would be: Difficulty i have hard links and wipers, fast execution sometimes adds. but i suck @ powertricks (even if i like them) Smoothness i never show a combo with 1 mistake, so i think it's okay, but i don't like spinning always the same speed, so idk about "smooth" Control no problem, except if i try new things ofc Variety i got the point here, as i know a lot of different tricks and could build a lot of combos in short time. Creativity i use and used to create things, particulary hybrids, switch and wipers. But i'm not fan of people only doing this like ponkotu,zasso, fel2fram, etc. creativity is cool but not all the time. Presentation i like mine, i wouldn't change anything to please me the bad ones Spinless some basis..not my point though haha 1p2h/2p2h/2p1h because my left hand is unsensitive, i can't use it. i tried some 2p1h in the past, yeah, but not much and about distinct pleasing style... well i have a very strong style. 50% haters and 50% lovers, though xD but thats way better than being ignored, :3

Difficulty: meh, 4/10 I can do a couple power tricks. Continuous fingerless tricks are an issue, but I can give a good linkage if I put time into it. Smoothness: I make it a priority to be smooth. In my serious combos, I'd give a 9.5/10 or 10/10. Control: My usual combos and freestyles have common linkages and not too much movement around the filming area, and I usually stay dead center. 8/10 Variety: poor. I can do different combos here and there, but the common linkages that link the main parts of my combos are the same. Probably on every video I have. 2/10. Creativity: Meh. The people that don't spin give me more creative ideas than myself. 0/10. Presentation: Again, I usually stay dead center of the frame and I have multiple lighting positions, and a usually clutter-free desk. I use an overhead angle similar to Eriror's. 9/10 or 9.5/10 Spinless: -234342343/10 Pleasing style: It comes and goes. With lighter, double sided mods, I can get style down. 8/10 1p1h obviously MY PEACE SIGN IS BOSS.

Difficulty 4/10 i dont know much difficult tricks =( Smoothness 3/10 not good enough =( Control 5/10 im alright at this, even though my combos are crap Variety 2/10 i am very repetitive 1p2h/2p2h/2p1h 1/10 have only tried 1p2h Creativity 0/10 i have none Spinless 0/10 =( Presentation 2/10 very poor angle Distinct pleasing style 0/10 i have no style =( wow after rating myself i feel that i am a really crappy spinner...lol

i dont think spinless should be a catagory...it makes no sense. Its a trick family, not really a criteria. ====== presentation: 4/10. eww my head always gets in the way smoothness: 5/10, i have those awkward pauses variety: 7/10 Difficulty: 6/10 creativity: 6/10 tempo usage: 5/10
