Sometimes if my parents and I are out at night visiting family or whatnot, on the ride back home I would start to spin. Since it's night, and (of course) dark, It would be a little hard to see what I'm spinning. If I were to spin a dark colored pen there, I would only see my hand making movements in the dark, not the pen. I just think It's kind of fun to spin while only seeing the hand spinning. I also like the way it feels on your hand. It sort of emphasizes the way the pen feels in your hand because you don't really see it, but you just feel it. So yeah. Any thoughts on spinning in the dark?

The problem is, if you're spinning a black pen in the dark and can't see it, once you drop it...........you're screwed.

I do that sometimes. It certainly helps you memorize how to do the trick, but then again, I also dropped my pen while spinning it in the dark, and it's not very fun to find.

I love spinning in the dark, like you said you can just focus on how the pen feels in your hands.
