I used to play vindictus. It's a good game but I played during early beta and there wasn't much content. I know there still updating stuff (but I believe it's still in beta). are you looking for martial arts themed mmo? let me give you the rundown of the 3 i've played.. 12sky1: was fun, but it's been shut down as of april 2009 or so.. Population: Medium-large 12sky2: Rather simple.. and there's not much else to do but grind. Lots of drama and very e-peen based... somehow i managed to grind out 113 levels in this game. Population: Medium 9dragons: Dominates both to be honest. hundreds of different moves you can learn and link together and the level system is unique [every level is split into 12 sub-levels, although the exp bar only counts each sub-level, so in effect each sub-level is what you would consider a level. Level 5 would be 'Cheng 5 of Losing Self', likewise, by level 13 you reach the 'cheng 1 of Gathering Chi' and so on. I have a level 91 [Cheng 7 of Golden Blossoms] drunken fist master in this game, and if you want to go to Nirvana server i can help you out.. The game is relatively newly opened up and they're still fixing a lot of stuff but you know... things have been improving. Population: medium-small General fantasy MMORPG.. Vindictus: if you have a crap computer, this isn't for you. you're also gender locked depending on your class. this relatively new game is taking the free mmo market by storm. Population: medium-large Last Chaos: it's hit or miss with this game. you either love it or you hate it. personally i love it, but the pvp system is bonkers and the grind becomes harrowing, the community boasts the highest majority of mature and helpful players i've ever seen population: large world of warcraft [NOT FREE]: compared to any free mmo, the amount of content is overwhelming.. the slightly cartoonish vibe may throw some people off, but leveling and gearing is easy. I find this mmo to have a fairly high 'skill cap' [that is, the amount of skill required to master a class] mainly due to the sheer number of buttons you are required to master for high-end pvp [my mage has something like 45 keybinds and macros], but the community is known for immaturity and 'children', you can find many good people to be friends with simply due to the massive number of players [i have many friends who are mature and competent players] population: too fuckin big!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Overall, 9dragons is my fav free mmo.. WoW is better but it costs money

perfect world and runes of magic got boring for me instantly. i dragged it out, and got even more bored. to be honest, the most fun iv ever had on any mmo was runescape. WoW included.

runescape is the farthest thing from rocks. graphics sucks, control suck, gameplay sucks. I remember getting to the part where i had to cook shrimp and i quit right there.

Graphics don't really matter that much. Look at minecraft, worst graphics in the world yet it's amazingly fun. Runescape on the other hand, not fun. and you have to pay to get all the good features >_> OT: It is unfortunate you can't play Vindictus cuz it's super fun ._. but i lag
