eh... i dunno whats up with hal beating barron AND baimai. (hahha alliteration..lame xD) really it seems odd that the judges keep leaning towards him. hal is a great spinner, but baimai really had this one.

but honestly the final vote count doesn't reflect how close a battle can be. you could lose 16-0, with average score of 10/20 compared to 20/20 or you could lose 16-0, with average score of 19.99/20 compared to 20/20 this stat is not shown here, you can compute yourself fi you want to.

I like Hal, he's a great spinner, but wth. What do the judges see in him? I was giving the win to baimai. :\ Hals rather boring. I was hoping to see more great stuff from baimai. Meh, I guess I'm visually inept and I can't see what all the judges see in Hal. Well, I'm glad at least Kin beat Mesi's 10 second combo.

that has to be the biggest load of malarky I have ever seen. Baimai totally won. HAL had a horrible combo compared to Baimai. Errior should have won, s777's vid was too long, plus s777's combo wasnt that good compared to erriors. Plus, Vic totally destroyed Superwit, but popularity got the best of the judges. Turns out, you dont need to be the best PSer in the world to win the WT. You just need to be the most popular.

Because we like baimai more. He's more creative and entertaining to watch as hes always bringing new stuff to the table. His difficulty is higher. The only thing Hal has going for him is prettiness (I suppose his overall combo's nice too..). Hal's like the popular highschool cheerleader who's getting by because he's hot and has big tits and of course, we feel bad for baimai the nerdy underdog who's the main character of this movie.

BaiMai was technically stronger, but at the end of the day, making the audience like your combo is the main aspect of pen spinning. UPSB clearly has different values when judging combos; let's not downplay HAL's combo and the judges' decisions.

I really want to know who the judges are :L. They seem influenced by bias. As MIB said, Hal is getting by by being 'hot'. His spinning is sexy. Baimai had a much more technical, innovative and also as equally good visually combo. idek.... Kin for WT winner if he brings out new material. otherwise S777

This round was a very big disappoint. 99% of my favorite spinners have lost due partially if not completely to biased judging. All I can say now is x1213 and HAL, go beat the **** out of your opponents.

just looking over the both the videos and the individual results between baimai/hal, i think i am content with the judge's opinions the judging criteria asks the judges to rate the difficulty, creativity, execution and presentation of the spinners difficulty wise, even, going either way creativity, baimai wins hands down (+1 pt BaiMai) execution HAL has quite flawless execution, possibly even (+1 HAL) presentation can be said to be even between the spinners looking over the raw scores from the judges, this is how it went. the scores for each critereon were only 1 pt (in some cases only 0.5) apart, hence the final scores only being 1 pt difference from the criteria given, i can easily see how the results could have gone 16-0 to HAL, or the other way i'm not saying i believed on a gut-feeling level BaiMai didn't deserve to win, i'm just saying the judges can be justified at the decision, and that the decision was very, VERY close. also, unless you didn't actually look at the scores (ie. number of judges that thought which spinner was better) and were just shouting opinions just over the result, i dont think you are jusified to say that the judges were biased against HAL. the score was 8-8, the raw scores were almost always 1pt difference, and further breaking it down, the scores for each criterion can be justified still, very disappointed that baimai didn't get through in other news, surprised and excited that sponge got through glad that snow got through, if only for another chance to see a beautiful combo sad that upsb got knocked out at this stage, but good job to eriror and vic

i was extremely disappointed by eriror and vic in round 3 on them losing not because they were against better spinners than them, because they COULD win but.. they just dropped the ball.. not an honorable loss at all

Not in my opinion <_< Although BaiMai got power tricks and his combo was 2 handed, i still think HAL was better. His linkages are amazing (watch his combo in slow motion) and presentation was much better... -

His linkages may be amazing, but in my opinion, BaiMais stuff was way harder than HALs linkages. I watched them in Slowmo, and they aren't that hard at all imo. But you're right, presentation was imo better...But not more. But that is a matter of opinion, for some spinners are HALs Linkages harder than BaiMais Stuff =D

HAL's linkages aren't that great. It's mostly stylized twisted sonic spam if you break it down. His strength lies in his execution, which is excellent. -
