You're putting an extra bump in there which helps you get the pen over to your index finger. I'm sure in a continuous fashion, this wouldn't work. If you look at peem's video, it's seamlessly fluid so you'd have to eliminate that small jolt to get it right.

Its the exact same technique as palmspin > fl Ta. Watch my tutorial for palmspin > fl but just instead of using your thumb, use your index finger.

Wow. My favorite spinner replied to my thread. Anyways, nice tutorial Vic. 5 star job on the Palmspin to FL TA tut. Now I think I get the concept of pun new. BTW, are you supposed to bend your index finger when you move down, or do you keep your finger sticking out straght?

hmm, i didn't know he could do that many that easily...not much of a real 'tutorial', but given english isn't supawit's 1st language, it's still nice. slo-mo is helpful for angling of finger and where pen should spin, i'll try changing my technique and see how effective this is

interesting, i'd like to see some vids of you doing it xD it seems most spinners find pun new way harder than fl ta ~ palmspin (their cont. pun new records are usually 1/3 or less of their fl ta ~ palmspin records) -

See, for me the hard part of Palmspin to FL TA was ducking my thumb down. I would do it without moving my thumb, but I could barely get past 2. With this you have to move your finger to get it around, so it came kinda easy to me. My record is still only 2.

A good hint for that is probably a Fake Double to Palmspin. You only have to put your index finger down at the right moment. Hope that helped! BTW: I can't do it, as well. It's not even necessary, I guess.

doing pun new with fingers other than index is easier when you do a certain 'trick' - you have to raise the lower part of your hand as the pen is going around the finger (see vid below for a crappy demonstration) as you get better at pun news, this 'raising' movement gets smaller [video=youtube;CvInCdhxCBc]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvInCdhxCBc[/video]

It's very easy to do this trick when you map it to the ring finger because the ring finger is naturally independent in therms of touching our palm. I never really tried it much but I did it x3 a couple of times. The only thing you need to get used to to do it at the ring finger is a index/middle/ringaround ~ palmspin and your good to go. Nope, WLMM doesnt have slomo function anymore >< from what i've seen in tutorials they seem to do slightly more rotations on the palmspin..so i wasnt sure if mine was right or not =/ practising to do it cont @i.suk

@i.suk thing is, i dont know if my rotations are right(even when i watch in slomo), cause they dont feel 'natural' when i try to do more than that.. and i can't find the palmspin~flta thread so im posting this here <_< so yeah i just recorded and wanted to ask if i'm doing it right or not if i were to do it cont lol
