fingerpass... took me a month to make it smooth. and after that is the ring bak, I haven't learned it properly yet

it took me so long to get fingerpass down smooth... i geuss the hardest trick ive learned so far is hai tua > spreads. i dont even know why i learned that, i dont even do power tricks. i usually spin an MX.

hai tua hand turning part and catch was really hard for me

  5. gyrobius
    Date: Sun, Mar 20 2011 21:08:50

Punkan. Although It's still really hard to me to do, It was a lot easier then I expected.

Cheek spin; it always gets caught in my hair

  7. crinix

I did not work on fingerpass like you guys, when I tried it at my first year it was fucking smooth itself^^ Ringback was the hardest i guess, also Palmspin>FL TA cont was too hard and cont busts, fl tas.

  8. i.suk

twisted sonic double bust, in the days before buster cyl and 'power tricks', it took the average spinner well over a hundred tries to land it once...i tried for more than 1 1/2 hr before landing 1st one xD

flush sonic. my middle finger wouldn't bend far enough, and it took forever to learn. <_<

  11. Kastup

finger pass rev >.< took me forever to get it smooth

  12. Riley
    Date: Mon, Mar 21 2011 02:54:09

Thumbaround Reverse took me 2 months... but that could go in "share your fundamental experiences" thread. For a nonfunadmental... I'd say double bust... still haven't mastered it.

  13. V-Storm
    Date: Mon, Mar 21 2011 03:24:38

TA reverse took me a good time. Charge reverse also. I can't even get 0.5 revolutions 100% of the time. Hardest trick ever? Well, it's bakfall for me. I've been going for over 2 weeks.

  14. tacohead12
    Date: Mon, Mar 21 2011 15:14:54

Fingerpass rev. is still bad for me >_> Hai tua took me a long time too.

  15. Knightpal

Charge Reverse D: Sonic Reverse is cake =/ Still learning bakfall too.

I can say mine's my favorite move: Twisted Sonic Double Bust. However, this is an unofficial trick, the Twisted Sonic Quadra Bust. I once challenged myself to do a Twisted Sonic Triple Bust after learning the double, nailed it first try. Then i went for a Quad... My pen flew across my room a good 20 times before I did the move once... I broke my new RSVP MX when it flew across the room. LOL.

I had problems with Flush Sonic when I used to say WOW instead of Doing it  :(

  18. Jacob8185

Charge normal, the first trick that I learned; it took me two months (well, because I had no pen and experience, I learned from my friend). Twisted Sonic Double Bust, I still can't do it. Fingerpass (and reverse) BTW, I don't really get why everyone is complaining how bakfall is so hard... I got mine in my 5th try, on my first day, right after I could do all the baks in every finger slot.

  19. Kastup
    Date: Thu, Mar 24 2011 04:22:11

All the baks in every finger slot? Can you do a ring bak from 12 O_O Anyways, i actually think the hardest trick for me was twisted sonic bust x5 + bakfalls were hard too

  20. MickChickenn
    Date: Thu, Mar 24 2011 04:35:32

For me it was either charge reverse, ayatori trick, or ringbak. BTW, double bust is really easy. Just use Vics way, where he uses his middle finger to almost push the pen over. Got it like my 4th try.

  21. FusionX
    Date: Fri, Mar 25 2011 14:30:44

Charge reverse and twisted sonic 34-23 was very hard. I can only do the Charge reverse with momentum, not by itself, and I still can't do the twisted sonic 34-23 because my middle finger won't bend down far enough towards my pinky D:

  22. NJSpinner

For some it's easy to do twisted sonic bust up to 12 but me I only did it once

WHAT?!? TWO MONTHS? I only used one hour, and it was smooth by two days (~1.5 hrs of practice).

People seems to have forgotten this title. It is the hardest trick you ever learned, not hard tricks you can't do. My answer: Thumbspins. Thumbspins are bastardly hard to get consistant. My TS 2.0 is pretty reliable, but even at TS 2.5 I am probably at 4 or 5 out of 10.

Double pun kan by a long shot

  54. Danny116
    Date: Thu, Dec 15 2011 02:00:06

Midbak 1.5's and palmspin flta has stumped me for so long......... palmdownarounds are pretty tricky but im getting the hang of it xD @MickChickenn i learned spreads by starting from the pinky spread position, throwing the spread, then catching it, keep most of the pen pointing up, lift your whole hand as you do the pinky spread motion, tilting your wrist forward may be nessesary but it up to you. now catch again in the pinky spread position. getting the catch consistent is imo very similar to catching a haitua, or pinky bakrev > fl ta. just keep doing it until you find something you feel comfortable with how hard the hand should move up, how fast the pinky moves, etc. Good luck!

If I got 2/10 or 20% on an exam, any exam, I would fail the subject. Why? Because I had not learnt it.

An exam is made up of multiple parts, and different parts of a subject. Failing an exam with a 20% means you didnt know parts of the exam. Being able to do a spread 2/10 time means I know the spread.

If I said I could do a trick to someone, then failed it 8 times in 10 tries, they would not go away thinking I could do that trick...

full bakfall was pretty easy for me O_O i just learned the individual baks on each finger, than linked them with a reverse fingerpass... I think, for me, multipele busts are super hard. like, after three, the pen just fleies all over the place...

Bakfall (hard to learn, but quite easy to get the hang of it) Bakrise (easier to lear, but FREAKing hard to master ==) <----- not a master Fingerless TA> haitua (did it like, twice in my life, failed like, 2000 times) I can;t decide which one is the hardest though =/

  87. ZappyJ^

hai tua :DD when i was 8mos. of spinning

  88. Bennzxc
    Date: Fri, Jun 8 2012 13:06:09

I somehow learned charge reverse first and then learned the normal charge O_O But yeah, the shadow was hard at first, but I mastered the devil shadow before I master the normal shadow 12-12, and then I think bakfall was really hard to master, I watched many vids slow mos and stuff, but really, it's the pass that is important, because you need to pass it to the correct position to be able to do a bak on the next slot. so yeah ^^

  89. Joiemoie
