I was just doing like a basic thumbaround, sonic, charge absentmindedly, so I quick showed them how to do the thumbaround because it's pretty easy, a few weeks later half the school knows how to do a thumbaround, spread like wildfire, nobody has the patience to go beyond that though...

What people just really don't understand is that penspinning is a hobby. Penspinning. They keep thinking it's because we're drummers or 'baton twirlers.' They're not ignorant (well sometimes they are) they just don't get it. Some people hate, some people like. I just want people to get that it's penspinning.

I get a lot of "how do you do that"s, and I simply have to say "Internet and practice", but it's even worse when someone says "teach me", and obviously they won't get anything their first try, so it's a naff effort to try to "teach" them. However, I kind of like it when people simply watch in amusement, or say "that's cool, you're good", because at least they aren't making me out to be some kind of professional or something.

I think when the non spinners say a question like "What is the hardest trick?" well i don't get mad about that. Because i asked a question to @Axeeeel like that when im a non penspinner back days. And i start learning Pen Spinning. And i don't get mad when a non spinner says "Are you a drummer?". Because a drummer spins too (But many are only doing charges, or maybe double charge). So, think with it. Don't get mad when a non spinner ask a question like that. I have a friend that plays Fingerboarding. I think y'all know what is that. I asked my friend too. "What is the hardest trick in Fingerboarding?" and he answers my question(I forgot what is the answer tho). Soo yeah, don't get mad if a non spinner ask a question that make sense.
