Hey everybody, i'm Lindor, an administrator from FPSB, and director of FPSB's laboratory (it's a place where spinners are working on finding new tricks, hybrids and concepts).I have been spinning for more than 3 years now, and my main goal was, is and will probably always be working on new concepts. Or at least, trying to. Since it could be interesting for some people, i'll post here what i worked on during several years. 2 years ago, i developped a new concept named "go round tricks". I was told later that the name is wrong in english. I've been too lazy to change it, but any idea would be welcomed =) It was the first motionless tricks i worked on. The pen does not move, but the finger turn around the pen. It's sort of the opposite of an around. Video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmCdJJmrZd4 Then, i worked on motionless tricks in general. Go round tricks, pass round (invented by Gisele8), motionless pass, motionless 2h fingerpass, etc. The first motionless tricks ever made is probably the magic reset, i don't remember who invented it. Here is the combo i made about it : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jo2D0AEXMlg&feature=related The combo itself is not good cause i was a young spinner, but there is still several ideas into it. I think i'll try to make another motionless combo with new stuff in the future-maybe. Later, i don't remember exactly when, i invented the swivel. Not the pinkyswivel itself (was invented by pyralux, and it is the reverse of the twisted cobra bite invented long ago by Skatox), but the name, the concept, and several swivel tricks. Here is the video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mI19-gmxHiM I just remember, before the "go round tricks", i made a video about spider tricks. There is some ideas in the video and some new tricks (spider tap, spider gun), but it is a really old video ^^ whatever, here it is : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQp6EzkjCFs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BePOlPmKedY After the swivel, i invented the swing (the first name was lever, it is the name used on the video i'll provide here), thanks to Zombo for the name. There is still lot of work to do about it, but it is the first trick using the extremity of the pen (after the stall with the pen staying verticaly on the palm). The video also present a new slot (was new when i made this vid), called 1122. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQp6EzkjCFs Probably my favourite trick, and probably the less recognized trick i invented, the soft tap. It is a really soft and easy trick, that can be done in any combo, unlike the swing. I like it, but well, in a combo, it does not look that much creative. After using the extremity of the pen, the idea was to turn around the extremity of the finger. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIZjHAnwmzE I'll end this list with an other old video, showing some hybrids that where new when i made the video (and i still have seen nobody using them) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqaOOdY3iUA, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DOXX6idDvA I wont list the other concept, tricks, name and hybrids i worked on, cause i have not made any vids about it, and i just want here to show videos that could help some spinners to find new stuff. I guess there is nothing more to say, i probably forgot several tricks in my list, i'm too lazy to check my whole youtube account. I'm currently working on an other concept (that is not completely new), you'll know more about it if i am taken in the collab TOPS-creativity, since my combo is using this concept. I did not know if i should post it as an introduction or in the advanced trick section, since it is both. But since it's mainly tricks oriented, i post it in the advanced trick section. I hope it'll interest some people.

Nice! I like your new concepts. Well... the "go around tricks" is probably not a so good naming because it is quite confusing or maybe misleading naming, because when i first saw the name without watching the video... i thought it's some around tricks concept but it's actually quite different. I can't suggest a better name too because haven't thought of any yet. Anyway, it's really nice too these new concepts and they could be pretty useful in combo-ing. Didn't know swivel was invented or introduced by you, i learned that. Nice one. :P Looking forward to more new concepts from you.

Woah real interesting stuff Lindor. Has FPSB come up with official names for all the tricks yet?

FPSB's laboratory is working on names for tricks, but we are not pretending to give official name. Official name are given by UPSB's RD. If any community was able to give an official name, it would be inextricable =) But swing and soft tap could become official name, i don't see any problem for it.

I was just wondering about them because your stiff have been out for a very long time now and I thought some of the would be officially named like the go round trick.

I do not really care about official name. I could present some of these tricks to the RD and ask for an official name, an article in the wiki, etc. But i prefer simply making a vid and showing it to the spinners. I think that when a name is commonly used, then it is like an official name. For example, swivel, or hai tua, are not tricks that should be officialy named like that, but since everybody use this name, it's official ^^

Hey, I guess you could say I was the creator of the Magic Reset, but there was a spinless trick before mine called Seasick. I think you know what that is. This is a little nitpicking, but I wouldn't say "motionless," instead it's "spinless." I really like the Soft Tap. It's very easy to get into and out of and it would be very useful for a jerky combo. A combo that uses Soft Tap, Tipped Sonics, and Counters would be really cool.

Yes, i know the seasick. But as you said, it's not exactly motionless... But it can be done motionless. I remember now the windshield wiper that is motionless too. In my motionless combo, i'm doing an horizontal seasick 123 (was named "slide" in the RD, but i don't think it was made official, and i really think there is no need to name those tricks since they are seasicks). Tohlz's teleporter can be done motionless too. And magic reset is a nice trick, looks great in a combo.

Sorry for the double post, only way to update this thread. Here is the combo i made for TOPS-creativity, which presents what i am currently working on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nScr7L1Jyx0
