Nuzlocke-mode is a self-imposed rule-set consisting of restrictions given to the game in order to make it harder/more "realistic." In the image hidden under the spoiler you'll find the flowchart in which you can set your rules. The path denoted by Pokeballs are the regular rules (although I still consider naming your pokemon a regular rule).
I've completed Nuzlocke runs (using the normal rules + naming + white-out = gameover + no-trading) on every single game (Red, Blue, Yellow, etc.) except Pokemon Pearl/Diamond/Platinum, SoulSilver, and obviously, the new Black/White. Just want to see how you guys would fare. It's not too hard really, more heartbreaking than anything. Here's the comic that it's from: http://www.nuzlocke.com/?p=4 Reading the comic really sets the mood of Nuzlocking, and it simply isn't the same if you don't read it. I highly recommend giving at least the first season a browse. It's hilarious, so it isn't really a waste of your time. (Plus the guy's a /b/tard. That's always funny.) Nuz decided he'd make up some rules and actually played the game, making a comic out of his adventures. There are a titload of fan spin-offs in the forums and everyone there is pretty nice. Some good comic runs: http://s7.zetaboards.com/Nuzlocke_Forum/topic/848781/1/ http://s7.zetaboards.com/Nuzlocke_Forum/topic/848749/1/ http://s7.zetaboards.com/Nuzlocke_Forum/topic/8285958/1/ My favorite was a fan run of a "Micheal Bay" Version, which was just hilarious. Sadly, I can't find it. Anyways, POST YOUR PROGRESS/RUNS. Regular text is fine. Screenshot runs would be awesome (if using an emulator) with text next to them to tell your story. Comic runs would be even better. I don't think anyone's ever done a flash run; the Nuzforums would love you if you did.Spoiler

I kind of already do all of this since it gets too complicated with potions and X Accuracy and TMs and all that crap. Alas, they all have fainted a couple times, but I haven't let my Eeevee faint once.

I did this with Red and Blue, not exactly these rules but stupid rules none the less. I just play for the joy of playing now, I've gotten at least one, if not all per series, of the games as they were released, it's more nostalgia then anything.
