Back then I didn't own much pen as of today, so back then it wasn't really a big deal I've sold a lot of pens, and the demand was pretty high. I keep gaining profit to cover my budget anyways, so it's ok

I think many of your parents don't like it because they are jealous =D! Or maybe you are detracting from other thins by pen spinning. I find that when I do chores, school work, and everything first they really just don't care if I spin =_= xD.

Probably still one of the best attitudes, most parents won't support a hobby like penspinning - but at least they stay neutral. Same for me. -

My parents think its pretty cool LOL. i tried to teach my dad a thumbaround but he epically failed after a few tries and quit. My dad (full chinese) is about 58 and my mom (full viet) is about 52, and they're both those "Asian" fobby parents :p

My mom thinks it's kinda cool, just not to spend too much money, or make so much noise dropping the pen sooooo much <.< Once I get a job, i'm probably going to lose a LOT of money on pens though T.T

My rents think is kinda dumb. They also think it's a waste of money, but I also like writing/drawing with pens and pencils... so.... they're kinda ok with it. I also send large amounts of pens in trades (internationally), which pisses them off sometimes. They'll never get it -.-; Like others have said, it makes them dizzy too lol bottom line, they hate it lol

My parents support me in most ways, in terms of ordering stuff, modding, spinning, the only thing that my dad is opposed to is giving our address to "random people on the internet" so I ship to someone else's house, and they're fine with that.

Mom: Thinks Im just going through a "phase". Also thinks it's a waste of ink and money. Dad: Thinks it's useless and thinks it's keeping me from being a "socialite". Also thinks the same thing as my mom. Sister: Somehow it annoys her. For example, I'll be spinning across the room from her, and she'll say in an extremely annoyed voice, "Kyle, Stoooooooppppppppp. It's so annoying! Just stop already!" She once even offered me $20 to stop spinning for a month. I declined xD. (and knowing my sister, she wouldn't have paid me anything)

When you buy pens make sure you buy double of what yout ordering just to have and in case they get rare." Dad says nothing besides "dont do that while someons talking to you or when your in class. it distracts other people from learning." Step Mom says "" i dont care what she says cuz shes a dumb. My parents are such dicks. They're trying to convince me to stop spinning and completely focus my free time on guitar. They don't understand that I freaking love spinning. They tell me that I will get no where in life with such a useful talent, but I'll make a bunch more success in life i play guitar good. Seriously. Every time they see me spinning, they get some pissedoff/dissapointed look on their face like I'm such a failure for investing so much time in a "useless talent that won't bring me any success in life".

When I told my parents that I liked to spin pens, they were shocked speechless. They had always thought of me as the kind of "normal" child that would grow up to bring them children bearing their last name. They had always thought of me as "just a regular guy." But I couldn't take it any longer, the lie consumed me, so I had to confess. I still remember the look on my father's face when I said it, "Dad, I think I like to spin pens." His lower lip contorted for a second, as if he were about to show extreme disgust, but forced his muscles to contract into a stern, silent stare. "Dad," I explained, "I don't want you to think of me any different... I'm still the same kid. It's just... I had to tell you, I felt our relationship was suffering from the distance pen spinning has been putting between us. I don't want to hide it anymore. I... I can't hide it anymore." Still that silent stare. That clenched face. That hidden disgust. Sometimes I think I should never have told him, that I should have kept it locked away in some deep corner of my closet. Some dark, lonely corner where nobody would ever dare to look. Safe from the narrowing eyes and awkward dinner conversations. But it's too late now. They know. My secret's exposed, and I'm still raw from the consequences.

My mum feels kinda dizzy, when I´m spinning, at least she says that. My dad doesn´t really care. Sometimes they wonder what I am doing with my 86 pens and why I always need more, but they have no idea! It´s fun to mod other pens and to spin different ones. All in all theyre kinda neutral to it...

They don't care as long as I'm doing good at school. My mom says that it helps my coordination (supportive, huh :)) My dad was the first one who taught me how to do the thumbaround and the reverse (years ago before I know that pen spinning has lots of other tricks).

My parents don't care, they don't support and encourage it but they don't put it down and discourage it either. but when i brought my mods to korea on spring break this year my parents MADE ME show off my spinning to all my relatives and cousins who live there.. kinda odd.i guess they "enjoy" it.

At first they thought I was wasting my time and I needed to do something more productive, but after the first two months they kinda just forgot about it and dont tell me anything but they think its amazing even though I only know the fundamentals and a couple of intermediate tricks
