Dre Studio Beats (the nicest beats available) retail at 350
can get them now for 129 SHIPPED. refurb isn't remanufactured, I called and asked they said these are ONLY units that got sent back by the store because they didn't sell. NEVER BOUGHT before
129 dollars .... such a good price, i bought them even though i just bought new headphones lol

Refurbs also just mean that lets say best buy bought 100 beats but only sold 80 of the 100. The other 20 that they couldn't sell are sent back to the manufacturer where they retest the product to make sure it still works etc. So really nothing is done to it. @SJ

SJ yeah refurb and used are entirely different dunno definition of refurb generally is returned to manufacturer for some reason (can't do after 30 days). manufacturer makes sure it's still in "new" condition, then resells. the guy on the guy on the phone said these are only returned from stores for some reason, dunno how true that is though either way i buy refurb all the time can't tell the difference between refurb and new there's 2 sections on that site: refurb and "pre-owned" the pics of the preowned have yellow on them but they woulnd't sell those as refurb because they're not in "new" condition

after an hour long conversation with Penwish, our resident audiophile, he admits that these are the best noise canceling headphones for this price, even though he despises beats lol studios for 350 is clearly not a good deal but at 129 you just cant beat it

havent tried yet, are you talking about volume or noise canceling? they're loud enough that if there's any noise you can just turn it up all the way and blast them and i promise you wont hear anything lol if you're talking about noise canceling that only works for very consistant noise like a plane engine or something, not yelling or cars honking or anything -
