you're seriously taking my words out of context and applying them anywhere i said that for someone who wanted to compare two totally different specific mods and whose discussion would simply be a pointless division between people who liked heavy mods and light mods. ------------- imo the weis bak looks better than korean, but korean baks can be linked in ways that are not possible/very difficult.

weis baks FTW, though I rarely use them. I like to do weis baks, especially on my left hand. More aesthetic appeal, i suppose.

I find Weissan Backarouds cooler but much harder to use in a combo than the Korean Baks. Plus you can't do any Weis Backarouds when you wanna' execute some insane bak combo.

nowadays the concept of weis bak is fading unfortunately. i do find the weis bak to be much more appealing. it is very distinct from the korean bak. i don't know. just my views.

If you want to do bakrisers 12, then do it weis bak.

I think much spinners do Weis Midbak 1.5 (e.g. Vicgotgame, s777) but a bit spinners can do Korean Midbak 1.5 (e.g. HAL) Am i right?

lol weis midbak 1.5.... like normal weis bak the pen is placed in the vertex of the index/middle fingers in parallelism to the weis midbak w/e spin but in the vertex of the middle/ring fingers. to do weis midbak 1.5 is a difficult task. i believe you are seeing korean midbak 1.5.

Weissan bak looks better for some purposes, depending on the impression you want a combo to give, but it's less harsh and more elegant than a korean bak, and there are some nice easy ways to link it : rev ta > bak (watch Zombo's cont bak to fl rev ta to see how appealing this is) rev halftap > bak any reverse shadow xx-T1 > bak (the more rotations you give to the shadow, the better it looks) sonic > bak (Kam does this one very neatly although I find myself having troubles to render it in an appealing way except if my palm is facing up) rev palm spin > bak any rev swivel XX-12 > bak These are my main weis bak starters. And when doing backfalls, I also start with a weis bak 12-12, and continue in korean, I can't do a weis midbak (and I don't believe Rotator's vids really show weis midbaks 1.5, these are koreans, the pen hardly makes it to the proximal phalanx, not to the back of the hand, or if these really are weissan, distinction criteria between korean and weissan for midbaks are different than for baks, but I'm not aware of such different criteria).

I prefer Korean bak due to it's use in Bakfalls and the like. But Weissian baks do have their place in ps I tbh the look better when they are multiple baks. If that makes sense.

i must sound novice for saying this but whats the differance between the two? isnt the korean just thumbless? well we call it fingerless lol?

If you take a look at Eso's tutorial here, a weis bak is the first bak he teaches (00:03-03:14) and the korean bak is the second bak he teaches (3:15-6:09) Midbak, ringbak and pinkybak are all just variations of the korean bak in different slots.

Yea very distinct difference, korean baks are done at the outermost joint normally and then weis bak is done in the fingerflap of 12 then spins more on the knuckle.

Is it possible to do a weis bak from 23, and if so is i difficult to learn?

It is possible, it is easy to perform alone, but not to link with other tricks and to do in combos.

I guess the answer will be the same for everybody, weissan back looks better (and more "pro"), but korean back can be linked more easily. To the spinner that said cont backriser has to be done with korean back, DaThroat used to make cont weissan backriser (and so did bonkura too). I remember someone that said he was trying to make a weissan backfall. I don't know if he finally did it.

I never do Korean backarounds. I use Weissian backarounds alot, they go well with thumbaround variations and T12-tricks in general. Also Weissian backarounds are a good way to utilize more parts of the hand than just the tips of the fingers.

I only use Korean backarounds because i donĀ“t like the weis. backaround it looks weird^^

I use both, but I mainly use Weissan baks for either a) neobak 12 - 34 and b) twisted cobra bites I really don't have any other use for them.

Take a look at my video : I might go w/ Wind, want to do Bakriser 12, use Weis Bak

weis backaround is a cool trick, but i prefer the korean backaround as you can link it with others baks to perform the bakfall
